Lilac Chiffon Wedding Dress with Crochet Shoulder Wrap & Crochet Crown

I made this dress last year and the wedding actually took place February this year. Gila lambat eh I tulis entry about the dress. Panjang ceritanya. Mula2 because pengantin minta upload gambar after the wedding, so I waited till February. Then, my laptop pula masuk workshop terpaksa tunggu lagi. Then pung pang pung pang busy sana sini, last-last baru ni berkesempatan nk update. But I’ve already put up some photos of the bride and groom wearing my creation on their wedding day, the photos were taken by wedding photographer and I’m still waiting for more beautiful pictures from them sebenarnya.

Nik was being introduced to me by my friend Isma. They used to work in the same office. So the bride Nik contacted me and we discussed details about pricing, budget, design, material, colours and etc through email. When everything seemed ok with the budget and all only then we decided to meet up. Yup, normally my style memang macam tu. I prefer to discuss all the important part dulu especially budget, design and material through email because we can just straight discuss about it without wasting time. Bila semua ok baru jumpa, jadinya sessi bertemu tu dah simple dan mudah sbb kesemua benda2 yg penting sudah discuss terlebih dahulu. I have to do like this due to time constraint. Lagipon it way much better kan? as we don’t waste anyone’s time kan? Customer tk waste my time dengan berjumpa dan tk pasti nk tempah ker tak dan I pon tk waste customer’s time. Kita bincang, setuju baru jumpa for measuring and so on.

Dan juga customer pon rasa selesa dan tak ada rasa serba salah ke apa, sbb kadang-kadang bila dah jumpa and discuss lama2 sekali budget tk boleh nk meet pula. Dahhhh tk jadi tempah, dahhh rasa segan bagai. So to avoid all these to happen, easier to discuss through email and meet me once you are agree with my price and suggestion.

So back to this beautiful lilac chiffon dress, it’s indeed a simple and sweet dress. Nik prefers the dress to be simple as she planned to wear it not only for the wedding. It’s not difficult at all to work with Nik, as she’s very cooperative and not fussy. When I suggested to her to do crochet crown & crochet shoulder wrap instead of lace , she has no objection to it and I was so happy since she’s open to new thing. I plak mmg dah aim nk design dress with crochet sbb kinda bored with lace already and I believe if pergi wedding, banyak tetamu pon guna lace kan?

A bit about the lilac chiffon dress, the shawl/veil is pre-attached to the dress, senang sket tk perlu nk cari tudung dah. Just wear a nice scarf inner. Then for the sleeve , it’s a normal sleeve with 2 layer ruffles and I suggested to Nik to add some decent beading. Sbb mula-mula tk ada beads, but I think bila lagi nk melaram with beading bagai if not wedding , ye tak? And beading ni can always unpick if you don’t want it anymore. There’s also lots of beading at the bottom of the dress. Scattered beads. Then for the crown part on the veil, instead of lace patch, I chose crochet lace patch. It is more unique, pretty and exclusive too. Other than that, I’ve also provided crochet lace wrap, to be wrapped around the chest and arm, to give some vintage look but sweet. The dress also comes with a stand alone belt that can be removed.

Other than that, Nik also ordered a pair of custom made shoes to be worn with her lilac dress and groom suit that match her dress colour too. I’ve provided everything including the material. Usually I don’t take many custom orders at one time to ensure quality of my products are top notch. So, tak perlu risau kalau kot-kot designer or tailor confuse ker sbb banyak orders, sbb if dengan I, normally mmg I focus buat only 1 baju pengantin at one time and will only open another slot of wedding orders after the first one has finished. Lama dah tk jual barang-barang beauty and health since my Usana days. Haha. Other than clothing, I mmg suka jual barang2 kecantikkan dan kesihatan. Alzara dead sea salts. Garam laut mati with lavender essential oil. Bagus utk skin, utk lembutkan kulit dan juga yg ada skin problem like eczema or psoriasis. My baby Kenji ada masalah bisul, boleh baca entry “Dugaan” and sekarang I tgh try treat him with dead sea salts ni. Sbb doktor sarankan utk rendam baby dalam air garam. So I was thinking utk dapatkan special garam, try cari garam bukit tapi supplier yg I kenal tu mcm takder stock. Last-last senyap gitu jer. Then baru perasan yg garam laut mati ada dalam katalog. Jadi I try beli and guna utk baby. So far, from my pemerhatian abscess dah improve a lot sbb no more pus. If not 8 bulan nanah on and off non-stop. Cuma selain dari guna garam ni, mmg kami ada byk berdoa dan kirim doa ke Mekah dan faktor tumbesaran baby juga ada kaitan. So I guess semua ini berlaku atas izin Allah juga. I loveeeeeee this make up eraser , because it’s very easy to use and it works like a charm! It can remove or erases tiny lip and eye make up mistakes, smudges, smears and creases without disturbing the rest of your make up. Para pemekap tegar sure tahu mcm mana susah nk erase kalau guna cotton bud or tisu. Last2 make up rosak. So this thing is a must have for make up user. Tapi yg tak best sket dia sangat lembut and fragile so be extra careful when you holding it, don’t drop it ok. Sbb once drop the eraser tip terus patah like mine. Waaaaaa. Got to buy a new one. Sbb dia lembut like a lipstick/lipbalm. So I think it’s best to keep it in its box, nk guna baru keluarkan dari box. Loveeee this Miyami two way foundation powder also. To be honest, I was a bit hesitate to purchase this Miyami two way foundation due to its blue packaging. Hehe. I rasa packaging dia mcm very tak comel. So, I bought L’oreal instead , but too bad I got a wrong shade and the powder pon tk best sbb it’s a bit cakey, and bila dh pakai lama2 sampai tengahari dia jadi cam tk even and sopak2. There goes my RM60. Since I need a powder urgently sbb I mmg guna two way foundation ni bila keluar jalan-jalan and my Chanel dah habis (and I wanted to try other brand sbb dh lama sgt pakai Chanel dah 4 tahun rasanya) , so nak tak nak I try beli Miyami ni. And to my surprise I love it so much and I think it way much better than my Chanel or maybe at the same par with Chanel. I don’t know, you just got to try this. Coverage dia mmg best, cam bila u apply senang je dia nk rata seluruh muka, meaning tkyah nk apply berkali2 to get the ideal amount of powder to cover all your skin imperfections. Secondly sangat intact! Sampai petang pon tahan ni, nampak elok je, just wipe minyak2 kt muka sket and you are good to go, sbb the powder mmg intact. Before I bought this 3 people recommends to me to buy Miyami two way foundation powder, kalau kita buat experiment kt sekolah pon, kene buat 3 kali utk confirm kan? Hehe. Vegetables in a form of human face

Sorry for not updating my blog yesterday. I always think that to prepare a nice entry to be read on Monday morning is a good thing to do as in a way or two, I can help people to cheer up and cast away dreadful Monday syndrome. But too bad, wasn’t able to update my blog yesterday due to ….. (I guess you know why hahaha, I keep repeating myself every time I update my blog)

Oh by the way I found an interesting creation that uses vegetables to form a human face. Well…it’s a bit creepy as at a first glance it looks so real, especially the eye and nose and I don’t think children would eat their veggies if it looks like this. Hoho.

Tomato, potato, carrot, chili, corn, berries and many more. Daun2 kt hidung and biji2 hijau tu tatau apa. Is that peas?

Many suggested that by cutting and arranging the veggies  into shapes and characters could help to attract the kids to eat veggies, but definitely not this one kot rasanya. Haha. Bila tgk kali pertama nampak mcm muka betul, tengok second time nampak mcm dia nk bercakap dgn kita plak. Hoh scary. However, can’t deny that this is so creative and kudos to the person who invented this. Very thoughtful and details.

Dawud Kenji - 8 months old

Dulu I rajin juga sekali sekala buat entry utk Ichiro, tapi sejak ada 2 anak, my time…my energy mmg over utilized. My focus in business pon a bit disturbed as when the night comes, I’m always more tired than usual ( more tired compare to when I have only Ichiro) It’s a non-stop chores that I need to do everyday. Wake up in the morning to mandikan my baby, then mandikan Ichiro pula. Sbb if I allow him to bathe all by himself, mmg mcm kene tsunami la bilik air tu nnt and expect more bottles of shampoo habis dikerjakan. Then kasi makan, then tidurkan baby semula, then siapkan Ichiro for school, then Ichiro pergi school time for me to mandi and jawab email or buat kerja2 marketing sket. Then not long after that, baby sure bangun, so dh kene jaga baby pula, then tk lama pastu Ichiro dh balik school. That’s basically what I do everyday and the list is actually not stopping there, it continues sampai malam. So, if ada orang kata jadi stay at home or working at home mom ni senang, I beg to differ. Dia jadi susah sbbnya, since bila u duduk dirumah dan bekerja di rumah, u akan kene jaga anak2 u sendiri tkleh nk harap maid. Sbb what’s the point you stay at home tapi anak2 still maid jaga kan? So, itu yg jadi susah sbb u kene buat kerja juga (yg jenis ada business atau mmg kerja dirumah) and at the same time kene jaga anak juga. It’s such a challenging tasks that I think not everyone can do it.

Kadang-kadang I hilang sabar juga la, sbb dari pagi sampai ke malam, semua org pon nk mommy. Nk tidur semua pon cari mommy. Yg si kecik Kenji ni pon dah tahu memilih. Ada satu malam, I was busy and try to finish my work fast, but I can’t concentrate because little Kenji was crying non-stop. Daddy dah peluk dah nyanyi semua tk jalan. Then I cannot tahan already, I take Kenji put him on my lap, terus senyap and straight tidur in 5 seconds!!

But sometimes when I looked back at what I’ve achieved in terms of my own happiness and raising the kids. I can smile broadly. It’s an experience that I could never get if I’m still working and stuck in the office 8-5 or sometimes 8-8. Right? I also deserve a pat on shoulder because I manage to build my own business from scratch till what you can see now.

Kenji is 8 months old already, dah pandai main dgn Ichiro and one thing I observe anak kedua ni daya tahan dia and tahap toleransi adalah tinggi sbb anak pertama mmg tk makan saman sket. Hahaha. But both of my children cooperate quite well and I can sometimes rely on Ichiro utk jaga adik especially bila suruh tolong tengok adik supaya adik tk jatuh katil. But cannot let him alone with Kenji for long duration la sbb Ichiro tu penggeram so does Kenji. So, bila penggeram jumpa penggeram mmg la bergomol2 nnt.

Kenji kuat senyum, rajin menggoda orang dengan senyuman especially bila nk mintak orang dukung. Hahah. Nk ambil gambar sangat senang, lompat2 sket or buat monkey action jer sikit, senyumlah dia I really treasure every moment with the kids and again I bersyukur that I can be with them 24/7.  Sbb life is short and our children grow very fast, so I nk simpan moment2 indah ni dalam ingatan.

So to baby Kenji and Ichiro, mommy loves both of you, jadi anak yg tinggi akhlak ok. If you guys nk baca and tengok gambar Ichiro masa 9 months old boleh baca di sini.

Bubble Love

What’s with the title? Bubble love? *Sigh…seriously I don’t really know where to start my story. Last week, during my last day at my parents’ house (with anak2 and husband) , I was busy at the main hall doing my work and I just let my husband handle the kids alone (shouldn’t do that again), since I got like tonnes of work to do. Yes tonnes of work , I’m not kidding and I was like mengelupur nk siapkan semua kerja.

Inilah dia bahan bukti kes tuang shampoo sampai habis sebotol. Seriously I don’t know to laugh or to cry

Suddenly I heard Ichiro crying and he ran to me. I didn’t expect anything bad happen since dia mmg selalu gitu pon. Drama king budak sorang tu. Huhu. My husband face was pretty tight. Ichiro mengadu to me yg daddy scold him. Husband still with his tight face told me that Ichiro pour the whole bottle of my new shampoo (baru 2 kali guna sob sob) into the tub and he was playing happily with the bubble…hence the title “bubble love” He sure love the bubble so much. It was our mistake too, Ichiro has been asking for bubble quite a number of times already. We do keep about 6 big bottles of bubble for him to play, it just that the battery operated bubble factory machine can’t be use anymore, so we don’t have an instrument to blow the bubble with.

Sebenarnya can always find something else to use as a bubble wand, dulu masa kecil my mom tak nak bazirkan duit beli kan I bubble2 ni, yg dulu jual dalam botol pink merah jambu. So, I really want to play.. you know. I pun suka bubble gak. So, what I did, I ambil pemegang span kapur kasut, siapa dulu2 rajin sapu kapur kt kasut, mesti tahu yg kapur kasut jenis ada span yg celup2 pastu sapu kt kasut (bukan jenis yg roller tau) . Jadi I took the sponge holder, I threw away the sponge, so tinggal just the holder and lubang tempat span tu diselitkan. Jadi, I celup holder tu dalam air sabun (luckily zaman dulu punya sabun boleh kuar bubble, if not sure I kecewa) and I tiup. Then keluarlah bubble comel. I was sooo happy and I never asked my mom to buy me bubble lagi lepas tu

Ok in Ichiro case, I was too busy with lots of things in my mind , so mcm malas nk gi punggah2 benda kt dapur nk cari yg boleh jadi peniup bubble. But then my kemalasan tu eventually has taken its toll on me, as Ichiro tuang seluruh isi shampoo into the tub, I baru guna 2 kali and I really love the shampoo! It smells good, bau orange & grapefruit and it’s a natural (not 100% natural) shampoo, without paraben, mineral oils and other harmful chemicals and it really works to soften my rambut yg keras mcm dawai ni. The moment I saw the tub full with bubble, my jaw dropped.

I baru pakai 2 kali….2 kali jer tau. Waaaaaaaaaa. I felt like tearing my hair out. Like seriously.

Ichirooooooooooooo.
