My baju raya! Yayyyyyyy!

Yayyy! I bought my baju raya already. Finallyyyyyyyy…..and terbukti my god feeling was right, I bought a dress from Zleqha. Sbb nye I fikir-fikir, I don’t have time to browse and search for other baju on internet and maybe by the time I find the right one, it would be too late already, so tanak amik that risk. Plus there’s no certainty on size, colors, delivery and stock availability. So, I made my mind to just simply purchase one of Zleqha lovely dress (to be honest, I wanted to buy more than one!)

I dah lama tahu Zleqha ni cuma, belum sampai seru nk beli. Zleqha specialty is more to modern contemporary muslim wear. Very nice baju-baju dia. I went to Tropicana City Mall, Petaling Jaya around noon today with my sister in law Hani. At the moment we sampai di booth Zleqha, we went ahhhhh…ooohhhh…ahhhh…santekkkkkknyer. Pastu tengok harga..terkedu sekejap pastu sambung balik..ohhhhh ahhhh…santekkkkkkk. Haha.

There are few dresses that I really like especially the polka dot dress. I would say the design is very classy vintage and it resemble design of dress worn by english lady during colonial years. If you remember my fashion illustration sketch earlier HERE, dress with empire waist or high waist is sooooo me, it favor my body shape really well and make me look slimmer & taller a bit. (tinggi itu penting…hehe)

So, when I saw this photo at Zleqha Facebook page, I just knew it that I gotto buy this dress. Apparently, faith has spoken that the dress gonna choose me to be her new master, since there’s only 1 dress with that color and size available at the booth. Memang betul-betul was meant for me. Haha perasannnn. I choose M size since I prefer the baju tu be loose a bit especially around tummy and waist area. So, senang nk bergerak, duduk, and tk panas sangat sbb ada ruang utk air ventilation. Heeee. Kalau beli S size, dia akan ngam-ngam fit lah tiada ruang utk menjadi gemuk walau sedikit. So, cane nk makan lemang nnt? Lagi satu tip from me lah yer, utk fabric especially satin or silk ker, better to buy slightly oversize sbb nnt bila u duduk or bent, baju tu tkkan jadi terlalu meregang dan menyebabkan fabric yg sensitive tu jadi tetas dan merekah. I ada baju from Forever 21, size S mmg ngam2 fit me, tp after awhile I tengok kain dia dah merekah dekat bahagian belakang sbb bila I bent dia teregang. So, itula dia simple tips dari saya

To those yg interested nk try and pegang2 baju Zleqha yg tulus-mulus, can visit their booth di Tropicana City Mall. Price range around RM300-RM1k. Better pergi, sbb Zleqha mmg takder outlet di area KL ni, so ni diaorg join Ramadhan Bazaar, so merasalah org PJ cam I nk try baju-baju dia. If not nk kene pergi Kuantan youuuu. Kan Kak Fazlin kan? Hehe)

I really heart and recommend Zleqha to all. Oh btw, Zleqha is looking for a great spot for their new KL boutique.

Kak Fazlin (owner & designer Zleqha) : U tahu tak dekat area mana yg best nk bukak boutique?

Me: Oh kalau nk area best, surelah yg dekat dgn my house best….(hahaha, tidak membantu kan?)

So, kalau u guys tahu ada tempat best utk bukak boutique can suggest kt sini. I ada suggest area PJ jerlah yg I tahu. Area Jaya 33 and Jaya One not bad jugak. Then ada 32 Square nearby Masjid Bulat PJ, yg ada JM Briyani tu. Situ pon not bad juga. Banyak Shoplot baru. Kalau nk best lagi, surelah masuk mall , mcm OU ker, KLCC ker kan. Kat Taman Tun (TTDI) pon ok. Tapi Taman Tun ada Munawarah dah. So, ada suggestion do speak up yeah.  So nnt kiter ramai-ramai can buy Zleqha easily di area KL. Selamat membeli baju raya!

p/s: there’s no picture of me with my dress, sbb I need to get it alter first. Will pick up the dress from Zleqha in 2 weeks time. Ohhh love it, I always find excuses to revisit the booth. Haha. Today jer dah memancing few friends to bring me to the booth sbb Zleqha kata next week ada lagi few more designs sampai. Diaorg tk dapat nk bawak semua sekaligus katanya. Ishhh itchy to go. Saper nk pergi, can me tumpang?

Beli CROCS lagi

My baby who was very sensitive to loud sound, suddenly scream to the top of his lung. And the screaming prolong for about 15 minutes yer. Cair taik tinge haku. This morning, he still has memory of yesterday and takut-takut to all the new faces [i guess dia dah kenal muka orang], but not long after that he’s got himself familiar, laughing and panjat-panjat everything yg boleh dipanjat Heee. If not I’m gonna feel so bersalah, if my son tanak dekat my in laws. But phewww everything back to normal. Malam ni tido lambat betul, sbb main sampai tk rasa ngantuk ok.

My husband and I together with baby went to One Utama today. I was thinking to buy a shoes. Crocs to be exact. I love to wear high heels / wedge but I need a heels that is comfy for daily usage. So off we went to Crocs store in OU. At first I thought to buy the Sassari.

Lama dah macam nk beli, sbb dia senang dipakai and wedge type. Tapi sampai tadi mcm dah tinggal 2 colour yang bosan jer and size pon dah tkder. Maybe sbb design lama kot. Then, my eyes attracted to the ballerina shoes, but it was all flat type. If only there is a wedge with the same design I would definitely buy it. My wish was granted instantly as my eyes laid on these two Lydia display on the shelves.

I bought a brown Lydia neway, since I just bought a fuschia peep toe wedge recently and the material also was quite similar with Lydia Winter, which is velvet. Maybe, I will buy the Lydia Winter later, but if only it comes with a tiny bow as well, then it would be just perfect.

While waiting for the sales assistant to get me the shoes, I take a look at the men shoes as well and I think the new design was quite nice. I asked Imran whether not he wants to buy a pair for him, since kasut dia dah lunyai and hancur and kopam and sadis. I suggested to him to try on this Tideline Leather and after we figured out the price, Imran terus tk jadi beli. Hihi. The sales assistant kata ni kasut paling mahal dalam kedai ni sbb dia entirely leather.

Knowing Imran, he will not buy anything that he thinks not necessary. A crocs for him = unnecessary. Dia boleh pakai selipar Asadi katanya. Huhuh. Uishh husband ku, agak-agak la sket kan. I tried to convince him to buy since it hurts me to see my husband wearing a season leather shoes. Siap terkoyak2. Dia mcm dah termakan racun I [and I know he likes the shoes also], so he tried on couple of others design, trying to get a cheaper one, but after he tried on few other designs, he finally said, ok kasik saya yg first try tadi la. Yeah , the one yg “paling mahal dalam kedai”. It was indeed the right choice cuma harga dia jer la boleh buat berak keras 3 bulan. Huhu. If I’ve not mistaken RM249.

Me: Ok, I jaga anak, u gi bayar your shoes tu.
Him: La, I ker kene bayar?
Me: Yer lah, kasut u, u bayar la. Kasut I , I bayar.
Him: U suruh I beli, thot u nk belanja.

He was indeed shock of his life. Hahaha. Sbb normally mmg kalau I insist him to buy something expensive, I will pay for him. Sbb Imran not type of guy yg nk splurge ni. Bagi dia hidup kene “wasadtiah”. Hehe which is true. I honor his principe, it just that once a while tolonggg la beli sendiri ok? [hihi] So kali ni, dia kene bayar. Tapi disebabkan dah beli crocs sorang satu, sampai tahun depan la baru boleh shopping balik. Huhuh.

Eh eh dah Monday ? Heeeee.

Remember my entry regarding my make up wishlist? Yup, I bought a new set of make up stuff, which I consider very basic ok. I didn’t buy the whole lot ehe. I have to pass the eyeliner and gloss tho, since it’s not that critical. Duit i lagi kritikal. Hehe.

I bought mineralize eyeshadow and blusher, studio fix (powder foundation) and make up primer lotion – all from MAC. The current blusher that I’m using is from Benefit, powder type and a benetint. I love the benetint but not the powder. The powder type is too sheer and hardly can be seen. Hence, I need to apply few times before the color blush up.

MAC blusher is pretty good and I love the shimmering effect. Same goes to eyeshadow. Easy to apply, sbb mcm sapu sket jer color dah nampak. Thumbs up for both. No need to review on the studio fix, sbb it has been my favourites for quite sometimes and this is my 6th purchase of the studio fix.

I was bit hesitate to buy the make up primer lotion since normally my day moisturizer is good enough to moisturize the face and help my make up to stay intact. But the SA insists. She said that MAC make up primer has been their best selling products so far. Sometimes many of their customer came to buy the make up primer only. Since I didn’t want to spend too much on make up [eventho it is quite reasonable sbb it had been a year i tk beli make up sangat], so I bought the make up primer instead of eyeliner. My experience using the make up primer? Hmm I rasa ok kot. I dunno, hardly can judge sbb my Usana SENSE day moisturizer pon giving the same effect. To control oil and make my make up stay. Nevertheless, I prefer Usana SENSE since it is natural and anti aging. Dah la pakai make up and with lots of chemical substance on my face. I need some kind of so-called make up antidote. Huhu.

Then, I went to Bobbi Brown counter to check on the liquid foundation skin finish. But sadly, no one entertain me, so I just simply walked out and make my way to Chanel counter. Liquid foundation has always be my weakest point in make up regime. Yeah, I am not an expert in painting my face and I always avoid to use the liquid foundation since am afraid it will be oily, splotchy and cakey few hours after applying it. However, to get a flawless skin look, I know I’m in dire need of the liquid foundation and I need to learn how to use it. So, making another “good” investment would not be too much I think [never in my life spend so much on make up in 1 day], hence I bought the Mat Lumiere and a lipstick as well. Thank god, the liquid foundation was pretty easy to use and I love it!

Sila abaikan baju I yg gebeh2 itu. Tempah the baju about sebulan lebih nan lalu. I lost few more inches I guess judging from the kelonggaran of the baju. Huhu.

Please do not expect my look akan terjadi mcm ala-ala Wardina, sbb not matter what brand of make up that I use…kalau I yg make up my face sendiri, hasilnya setiap kali akan sama jugak seperti gambar di atas ini. Heeeee. Sebabnya? I bukan reti sgt mekap ni, kekwat jer lebih nk beli mekap2. Haha.

Make up wishlist. Help needed!

I mcm gila serabut sekarang. I ada entry yang belum disiapkan need to submit before or on 27th, my sewing project tu baru half siap, new website semua tk settle lagi and my sister in law [adik imran] wedding is just around the corner. Hari Ahad solemnisation for Hani and aqiqah for Ichiro as well. Baju Ichiro tk cari lagi, my make up stuff dah habis, got to buy new one. I rasa dh lama giler tk beli mekap. Sejak I preggie kot. Hohoho. Masa I baru nk preggie, make up mcm baru jer beli and banyak lagi. Then selama 9 months I preggie tu, I didn’t really wear make up.

Hmm am thinking to buy the liquid foundation. Tapi I’m not that expert la nk pakai liquid foundation. All these while I just use the MAC studio fix and Chanel 2 way cake foundation. But, to get the drama look and to flaunt my Usana SENSE skin [hik hik], thinking of trying the liquid foundation. But to play safe, I must get ready with powder foundation jugak. Heee. Sbb I kuat merasakan cam tk berjaya jer pakai. Hehe.

Here goes few items that I planned to buy;

1) Chanel liquid and powder foundation
2) MAC studio fix [ni kalau sempat nk gi Midvalley]
3) Gloss [what brand eh yg best? I suka Stila, tapi dah tkder lagi jer rasa]
4) Lipstick [please recommend brand yg best, I sux big time at buying lipstick, selalu end up terbeli tk best!]
5) Blusher [been using Benefit for almost 2 years dah, thinking of trying other brand ker, no?]
6) Eyeshadow [ni paling critical! hari tu nk pakai, korek satu almari boleh tk jumpa eyeshadow ok. baru teringat masa I preggie, I buang semua eyeshadow I, hahaha tatau menyampah ker apa, but I guess Ichiro nnt tk suka perempuan pakai make up kot. Huhu. Tapi daddy dia merenyam suka plak ]
7) Last but not least, fake eyelashes? I loveeeeeee fake eyelashes tapi I tk reti laaaaaaa. Helppppp. Bila pakai gam tu cam terlekat kt kening pulak. Hahahah. [ok I exaggerate a bit here]
8)Eyeliner. I love yg black, very black. Stila dulu eyeliner dia sgt pekat, best tapi kalau terlebih pakai jadi mcm blackmetal. Hihi. Any other brand yg I shud try?

So any recommendation?
