Dah macam rutin plak, update blog seminggu sekali jer. Huhu. I think I macam dah tk berapa nk hog all pcs in the house and internet like I used to. Well, when one gets older…one start to slow down. It’s true coz now sehari tak on laptop pon I don’t mind or perhaps because I have an iphone? That could be true also, since iphone is good enough for me to check my emails, facebook, twitter and blog. That’s all I need. So maybe because of that, that made me kinda slowing down? Hmmm…

Lets try hide my iphone and laptop, lets see whether not I survive (huhu I don’t think so..)

Ok since update blog seminggu sekali, ladiesss..please take a deep breath this gonna be a bit long lah coz am trying to squeeze a week worth of stories in one entry . Hehe. Not to worry am not so generous with words, coz time is luxury to me, so am gonna skip all the merapu merepek be straight to the point lah. Lagi pon puasa-puasa ni tk larat nk baca banyak-banyak kan? So enjoy the pictures and caption ala kadar. Hehe. Esok I’ll start exercise at the gym , wish me luck ok. Hope can shed about 5kg before raya. Boleh tak agak-agaknya? Adakah mission impossible?

Here are photos taken during iftar with my uni/dorm mate. We kinda meet up once a year only during iftar. Huhu. Beautiful Ramadhan isn’t it? Kami semua yg sangat susah nk jumpa utk lepak-lepak , but sehari dalam bulan Ramadhan we make it happen Actually tk berapa cukup korum, Ida yg selalu join kiterorg baru bersalin, so I insisted to drag another good fren to join, if not mcm tk ramai tk best. So, tahun ni ada Kartini! Yayyy. Kartini yg pakai tudung bawal purple Kiterorg break fast at Fullhouse Sunway Pyramid tahun ni, last year Thai-Thai dekat Sunway jugak. I was wearing Nilam satin wide pants in Fuchsia and Roman Toga blouse. Am kinda a sucker of color block, hence the fuchsia pants and black blouse. Kalau matching color sangat mcm bosan dah. Huhu.

Ok habis cerita iftar, ni cerita I made a suppose-to-be-a-hamper/gift for my mother in law, she wants to give it to her boss. Notice I mentioned “suppose to be”? Welllll…mmg sepatutnya I buat ramadhan hamper, but since my mom insisted on using pewter tray yg macam org selalu guna utk dulang hantaran so automatic the whole thing doesn’t look like a hamper/gift basket anymore. Huhu. But, am cool, I don’t mind as long as I can do something to satisfy my hunger for crafting, am fine. If my mother in law want a hamper that look like a hantaran…so be it. Heheh. Ok here comes…picturessssss.

Initially I thought to put in some flowers in this cute little bottle for decoration, but then my MIL who seemed to love this bottle so much suggested to fill it with zam-zam water since we have a lot of zam-zam water at home. Dan lagipon ini hadiah sempena Ramadhan, so zam-zam water just nice. My mother wants to buy more bottle utk isi sos cili. Haha. Excuse my jawi handwriting on the bottle. Heeee. Tk lawa kan?

I love daisy! I think my favourite flower is daisy. But too bad dekat rumah kampung takder daisy. My mom tried to plant so many daisy but none of it survived. Poor daisy. But now ada banyak artificial flower yang look like a real flower like the one that I used for this Ramadhan hamper/hantaran. Of course it quite expensive but I’d fallen in love with it, I just can’t tolerate with fake flowers that looks like a real fake flower anymore (but sometimes I have to for low budget hantaran) Even if they are lot cheaper. I bought daisy in purple shade plus 1 stalk of other type of flower.

The hamper/hantaran (i hate to type the slash so many time) consists of kekacang and dried stuff like peach, berries, dates and few more which I don’t really register the name. But ada sunflower seed yg sangat sedap. Huhu. Makan cepat jer habis sbb dah siap kopek punya. Then ada telekung juga. Initially my mom just nk kasi kacang2 tu jer, but then I suggested letak tasbih or buku agama ker I didn’t suggest the telekung since telekung kan mahal, but my mom beli telekung sbb the person is so dear to her, so money is not an issue. Hmmm ok at first I thought nk squeeze a week of stories in 1 entry, but at this point I think better don’t. Haha. Banyak sangat gambar nnt lambat u guys nk load this entry. And secondly tadi I tulis “caption ala kadar” , sorry I think I get too carried away masa tulis caption, jadinya dah terjadi macam entry. Hehe. Oklah, it’s raining heavily outside, kalau tidur sedap, but I am not sleepy and in about an hour time I need to prepare food for sahur. So I guess I’ll just do my work dulu. Hiring Tailors / Beaders

Ramadhan is approaching and am super excited! We all love Ramadhan don’t we? (except org yg tk puasa hahaha) By the way, Raya order for baju kurung/baju melayu sudah ditutup yer. Thanks to all yg menempah. But baju for wedding or blouse or anything else still open.

I know I still new in this fashion biz, but I can’t thank god enough for the orders that pouring in and also thanks to internet & old friends yang believe in me. I really really appreciate that a lot. Bila buat bisnes and u know you can do it, but nobody nk order/buy your stuff, the feeling is truly sucks tau. But alhamdullilah, syukur kepada Allah sebab so far I still dapat order, small-small order tho but I appreciated it a lot. Insyallah from small-small order akan jadi big orders kan?

Ok ni I nk buat iklan sikit, I nk cari tukang jahit dan tukang jahit manik. Blog I ni mmg tk banyak komen, tapi I know there are many readers yg read my blog. So, nk mintak tolong u guys yg baca ni, tolong sampai-sampaikan kepada yg berkenaan tentang iklan ni ok. Sangat hargai if u all boleh “like” this entry so it will appear on your FB wall. Who knows, you might actually helping someone yg really need a job kan?

As demand is growing, so I need to get more tailors. At the moment I got 4 tailors, 2 malays and 2 chinese. But my past experience searching for tailors wasn’t that smooth. Nanti 1 sweet day I cerita ok pengalaman I berhadapan dgn berbagai ragam tukang jahit. Ada yg buat I betul-betul down dan tk lupa juga yg buat I bertukar menjadi naga.

Normally bila I nk suruh tailor buat sample, I’ll provide them fabric. But most of the time, hasilnya adalah tidak memuaskan hati, dan kain-kain I terbuang membazir begitu sahaja sbb potongan dan hasil jahitan sangat mendukacitakan. Jadinya, utk kali ini dan di masa depan, sesiapa yg nk mencuba utk bekerja dgn Nilam Boutique, saya rasa ada baiknya sediakan kain sendiri utk buat sample ok, cth design akan diberikan. Kain murah2 pon boleh. Lagipon dari situ baru saya boleh tahu kesungguhan utk bekerja. Begitu juga dengan tukang jahit manik, sama juga boleh tunjukkan sample-sample hasil jahitan manik.

Antara kriteria-kriteria yg saya dambakan (wah wah bahase) utk tukang jahit/tukang jahit manik;

• Jujur dan kuat semangat nk bekerja dan jgn banyak alasan macam-macam.
• Sediakan fabric utk sample
• Mempunyai mesin yg bagus, mesin yg jahit tk lawa saya tk boleh terima ok.
• Jahitan mesti kemas, kalau mesin ok, tapi tukang jahit yg jahit asyik terbabas pon saya tk terima.
• Kalau boleh duduk dekat area Selangor, area PJ lagi terbaik lah.
• Patuhi dateline yg dipersetujui.
• Pencarian tukang jahit akan sentiasa berterusan. Sbb saya suka ada banyak tukang jahit sbb utk elak tukang jahit demand tk tentu pasal dan juga utk mengelakkan bisnes saya terhenti kalau tukang jahit back out. Dah pernah terkena sekali dan sangat mengundang marah.

Weekend log

It’s monday again and unlike previously (when I was still working 9-5), Monday is less busy and tiring compare to weekend. Now my weekend is rather too hectic, full with appointments and plans.

That can’t be avoided because only during weekend my husband can drive me around. Huhu. My ultimate weakness (among many other weaknesses) is am a road blind , with gps even worse haha. Plus, am not really a good driver especially at night. That day, kami on the way back, and husband was sleepy so I offered myself to drive. Dekat-dekat nk sampai dekat rumah, I wasn’t sure how I ended up driving in a wrong lane. Jalan tu ada 2 side lah mcm biasa and tengah2 ada divider. So, suppose I kene drive di sebelah kiri tapi I mcm tersalah masuk junction ke apa tah I found myself driving di lorong kanan! And all the cars coming from the opposite direction high-beam-ed me. My husband yg sedap2 tidur dekat belakang, terus terkejut and cepat2 pasangkan hazard light.

Lucky the next simpang very near only, so jumpa simpang I quickly made a turn. Crazy and dangerous kan? Huhu…ada berani nk naik kereta dgn I tak? Hahaha…

Sedondon ahaks! I saje pilih color yg contra and out of the norm sket, sbb dh boring dgn color yg biasa2 so I chose combo of green and blue. My attire from top (dari inner) to toe is by Nilam Boutique (of course la kan sbb I tauke nya huhu) Except my shoes is Crocs. Insyallah soon Nilam akan buat custom shoes juga:)

Neway, weekend was fun we went to Sunway Lagoon on Saturday and attended a family wedding on Sunday. The wedding was held at Taman Manjalara, very pretty So, I cut the story short just enjoy the pictures ok. Sorry la byk sgt gambar yg ada muka I, hehe sekali sekala camwhoring buat sehabis baik yo.  Have a good day!

Hellewwww Sooo sorry coz didn’t update this page for quite sometime. How’s your weekend? Best tak? I didn’t go anywhere far, just pusing-pusing KL and Jalan Tar survey suppliers and also bought a bunch of brooches for my bridal bouquet project under Nilam wedding section. Nnt esok lusa I publish gambar yg proper shoot lagipon the bouquet belum 100% complete, for now I’ll just post the preliminary photos dulu. Agak azab juga nk buat brooches bouquet ni. Sbb brooch ain’t flower, bukan boleh just ikat cincai poncai and jadi bunga. Nk memulas wire sampai separuh nyawa, tangan pon sakit perit. Pastu at the same time nk jaga the brooch supaya tak rosak, mmg payah.

Ada bulu-bulu, sangat lembut tapi since bulu artificial ada part yg mcm keras sket tu yg kureng sket. But it’s ok I’ll wrap with ribbon later.

Perfect size. Not too big or small. Just nice. Oh btw, since it’s made of brooches..lots of brooches mind you, so it’s weigh a bit more than normal hand bouquet, tapi tkderlah berat sangat. Kalau penat pegang boleh suruh bride’s maid pegang dari diaorg tu takder kerja sekadar berdiri dan buat-buat comel atas pelamin. Hihih.
