Lovely Bones
I love I love I love Lovely Bones so much. Syuhaidah suggested us to watch Lovely Bones and since I don’t have any preference, so we simply settle for the Lovely Bones.
What made me want to watch it;
1) Based on the critically acclaimed best-selling novel by Alice Sebold
2) Syuhaidah said she cried when reading the book
Eventho many reviews did not quite agree with the way Peter Jackson filmed the movie and some even say it is a mishmash of Lord Of the Rings and High School Musical. But still I love it. For me a good movie must have a great story. And lovely bones certainly does.
Here a short summary of the book:
The Lovely Bones centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family and her killer from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.
On December 6, 1973 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, Susie Salmon takes a shortcut home from school. She is approached by a neighbor, George Harvey, a man in his mid-30s who lives alone and builds dollhouses for a living. He persuades her to enter an underground den he has recently built nearby. Once she enters, he rapes her, stabs her to death, then dismembers her body. An elbow, the only part of Susie ever to be found, falls out of his bag as he returns home, disposing of the remaining parts of the body by putting them in a safe and dropping it into a sinkhole. Meanwhile, Susie’s spirit flees toward her personal heaven.
Apparently the book and the movie isn’t similar. It is always frustrated to watch a movie based on book actually (except Lord of the Rings) . But in my case, since I haven’t read the book (Lovely Bones) so am pretty natural I should say. Kalau dah baca sure tk puas.
Lovely Bones is indeed a great family movie and I would highly recommend to watch it. While watching the movie, I kept thinking about Nurin. Only god knows what had became to her. I will take care my child to great extend, to the infinite.
Me and husband cried when watching this movie. I think maybe because we have a child and we certainly understand how painful it is shall our child gone missing. The pain is unbearable.

Alice In Wonderland (or Underland?)
Went to Cineleisure to watch Alice in Wonderland (AIW) movie last week. After making 2 attempts to buy the tix by simply walk-in, eventually we giving up and bought the tix 1 day in advance instead. Setiap kali pergi sure dah sold out.
To be honest it was my (and imran) first time watching a 3D movie, previously we planned to watch Avatar in 3D but the tickets were always sold out. So cam malas dah la. Tak 3D pon Avatar dah awesome dah 
Nothing special about the AIW movie if you ask, despite fact that it was my very first time watching a movie with a 3D glass on. I kept winding up the 3D spectacle, to spot the differences and from my observation, I think you won’t miss anything should you wind up the spec. Just that the colors might appear little bit blurry.
AIW is one of my favourite fairy tales But the movie is an extended version of the original, far from the traditional story. I’m ok with the idea anyway. Fresh idea is always welcome plus I can’t really imagine if they were gonna really follow the original story which is merely just a little girl’s dream. However, in my opinion the movie kinda fall on the lousy side – as boring as watching Narnia. Too much flaw and the plot is not really convincing. I could say that I’m a fan of Tim Burton’s movie, but not particularly this one. Too bad. I want to love it, but I cannot.
Johnny Depp on the other hand, as usual never let us down with his freakiness. Edward Scissors Hand, Sleepy Hollow, Captain Jack Sparrow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd (sweeney todd sgt creepy) and Mad Hatter in Alice In Wonderland. To my surprise, yeah I actually had watched all of his previous movies. Certainly looking forward for his next weirdo character on screen (even though there are some who asked him to pledge from acting freak..huhu). Oh by the way, I can’t really relate with his “breakdance” scene in the AIW tho. Motif? Ok maybe it’s kinda freak thingy. Hehe.
Sigh. Well….when I don’t really like certain movie, it is rather hard for me to get the right words to describe it in details. Maybe my short review don’t give enough justice to the movie. So, kalau rasa nk tgk benda2 interesting like a talking animal, graphic yang cantik-cantik, do watch AIW ok. I like the cheshire cat the most!(eventho I used to afraid of it when I was a kid)
Oh, but I think I wouldn’t mind to love this. Hehehe.

p/s: pssst I think I managed to spot a freemason lodge in the movie (particularly in the red queen’s castle). the checkered floor, the pillar, the chandelier, at least to my knowledge it fits the freemason lodge criteria perfectly.no?

AVATAR movie is simply S.U.P.E.R.B. I like it so MUCH till the fact that I wish the movie would never end. Kudos to the production team for the creativity. Never thought someone could think such a brilliant idea and came out with such a great movie. How I wish that I own that kind of talent..yeah ..you know to think out of the box easily like Avatar creator did.

Not many movie after Lord of the Ring that amazed me greatly. And I could say that Avatar is the second movie that awed me. Ok I lie, I did say that I love Transfomers so much too and wouldn’t mind to watch it more than once. Well….I think it is not to much to take back my words since I personally things Avatar is so much better than Transformers in many aspect! This movie is obviously leaning heavily on CGI, but they do it well.
I like every single thing about the movie, the color, the beautiful graphic, the creatures and aliens, the ideas, the war, the creativity, the story-line, the humor, the action, the act….everything, do you copy? Yeah everything. Oh not to forget the romance. Heeee. But I believe there are some part being censored due to inappropriate scene to be view by kids. Question now where can I get the un-cut version then? Huhuh. I feel kinda retarded when my adultness being denied by giving me no choice other than to watch a movie that has been cut at the most interesting part! Hahaha.Potong stim ok. Mind if I suggest to make the movie in 2 versions in future? For adult and for kids. Ehe.

AVATAR takes us to a spectacular new world beyond our imagination. It is about Jake Sully a handicapped marine soldier who embarks on a special mission and been assigned to drive his twin brother’s avatar. Avatar is an invention or creation for cloning purposes. In this case the avatar is being invented in such a ways that it could resemble the look of Gasar people [people that live on a tree and it happened that the tree that they call home is actually sit on million dollar stones] . To make the Gasar people move from the tree so that they could retrieve the million dollar stones, the so called civilized human decided to create few clones which they called as Avatar to mingle with the Gasar people and to learn their secret. The avatar appearance and physical looks exactly the same like the Gasar people only that it being driven by normal human in their dream and in this story the driver are Jake Sully and few others.
Duration of the movie is exceeding 2 hours, but I hardly feel it as I was soooo into the movie and when it’s end, I felt like I just woken up from a long nice dream! You definitely gonna love the movie as well. Go and watch it, it still fresh out from the oven!

Pisau Cukur…to watch or not to watch?
Today I rasa mcm nk tgk wayang la. Agak-agak citer Pisau Cukur tu mantap tak? I suke Maya Karin sbb dia mcm I. Haha sila muntah. I suka perempuan lawa tapi tk control sgt mcm dia la. Then dia cool kad kawen pon buat dari recycle paper. Pastu kene kutuk pon cool jugak. I wonder dia dicipta dari ais batu ker? Kalau Hollywood artis I suka Jessica Alba la, suka for the same reason jugak, sbb dia pon ala-ala mcm I. Hohoho.
Sepatutnya hari Khamis ni hari I train my downline Usana dekat HQ Usana. Tapi hari ni I mcm nk berehat la sbb last Monday ker Tuesday eh? Dah meet up sorang customer. I ni quota jumpa org dalam seminggu adalah seorang sahaja. Banyak-banyak nnt rasa tk world la.
Selain dari Pisau Cukur apa jer citer lain yg best utk ditonton eh? Cerita melayu ni kadang-kadang sengal, so I harap-harap pisau cukur ni worth every cent la. Kalau tk best sila kasi tau cepat-cepat ok, jgn biarkan saya terjebak! Kalau adaaaa yg berani cakap citer tu tk best lepas I dh tgk nnt siapppppp laaaaa I cukur licin.
