After the event – Part 2 [Robert G Allen]

Ok here goes the continuation after the event of part 1. Apart from having fun attending Usana celebration event. Me and husband also learnt lot of stuff on that day. The event was so motivating and gave both of us an adrenalin rush.

The talk was very inspiring. We attended to several talk that we managed to join during the event and my favorite was a talk from Robert G. Allen ~ the well known money gurus! Yeah, he was at the event addressing his speech to thousands of Usana distributor.

To those who does not really know who is this guy, well perhaps you might want to google about him. To save your time, here some facts about him that I copied from wikipedia;

Robert G. Allen (born May 20, 1948 in Raymond, Alberta)[1] is a Canadian-American financial writer whose real-estate investment and other popular financial books have appeared on the New York Times Best Seller list. His 1980 book, Nothing Down, spent more than a year on the non-fiction list.

Robert G Allen is the author of several New York Times bestselling personal finance books including: Nothing Down, Creating Wealth, Multiple Streams of Income, as well as co-authoring bestsellers Cracking the Millionaire Code and the The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth, written with Mark Victor Hansen, the author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul franchise. Allen recently released a new book, which he co-authored with Mark Victor Hansen titled Cash in a Flash:Fast Money in Slow Times. It is the sequel to their #1 New York Times Best Seller, The One Minute Millionaire: The Enlightened Way to Wealth.

Yup he is an author of several New York Best Selling finance book available in the market. If not because of Usana I would not know him anyway. Huhu. So, what he’s doing at the Usana event? I mean, what does a millionaire who generated millions of money in a day and specialize in real estate, as well as a famous book author doing at MLM event? MLM? MLM is so not him right?

My questioned was quick to be answer when Robert G Allen reveal the real secrets of his wealth. Yup, to my surprise he is actually a Usana distributor too!! That’s C.O.O.L! He is actually Top 25 Usana distributors in US. That…that that was really inspiring! So, to those who look down on the power of MLM, you should think again. Think harder. A money gurus, who makes million of money from writing a series of finance book, is actually generating money from Usana too. Isn’t it a great?

He was stupid enough to tell his wife that “honey, you can have all the money”. Yeah, because soon after that, cheque from Usana starting to show nice figure and the figure was actually even nicer that his book royalty cheques figure. Aha’ seriously he had committed to the biggest mistake ever!

Me and husband had fun talking to him tho. He told Imran that “you are lucky” when Imran introducing me to him. Lucky for what eh? I wonder?

Mrs Imran. Do it! [ yeah I will do it sampai ke titisan darah terakhir...wah wah bahase...huhu]

I bought his latest book “Cash in Flash”, just for the sake of getting his 2 words autograph! Haha. But the book is really good, kinda special since it has 2 different section. On the odd page, it will be just like a normal self help book. But on the even page, Robert wrote it like a story book. The objective and main focus of the book remain the same, only he delivered in 2 different method in 1 book. Interesting ha?

Road to Millionaire!

Hmmm apa nk tulis yer? Ok to tell the truth,I felt so left out at the moment. Sbbnya, I have been so busy sampai i terlupa nk check on how the others are doing. Sorry for that. Especially other bloggers yg I kenal and I used to visit their blog quite frequent. And today I’m a bit free to do “my” thing so I pon visit one blog after another. Wah! I’m quite impressed with the number of WAHM yg semakin banyak and tak termasuk WAHM wannabe + gonnabe. And most of them bukan quit their day job for nothing, they have a very strong foundation indeed. Many of them is making lots of money as I type. Syabassss ok!

And yours truly secara tk langsung telah menjadi part of the statistic la kan. Wow if I look back to previous days, how messy my life was…mcm tk percaya pon ada. How did I manage to live my life mcm tu eh? Pressure, penat, depress, stress, time constraint, etc etc. How did I survive?

I hope that my percaturan to be a WAHM menjadi. It has to be menjadi ok! I gave up my profession as an engineer to stay at home, to look after my baby and to run my business from home. Dulu every night, I akan tido sambil baca buku Retire Young Retire Rich by Robert Kiyosaki. Tidak pernah sekali I bayangkan yg I akan retire young? Nk makan batu ker nnt? Nk shopping mcm mana nnt?

So for me, idea of retire young retire rich ni merapu jer la. And tips2 org yg menjadi jutawan tu semua bagi I fairytale jer, tahyul kalau dalam bahasa malaysia. Mustahil utk dibuat. But still I secretly hope that I can retire young one day. One good thing about me, I never give up on looking highs and lows for method to be a millionaire that suit me. And I hate negative thinking. Sbb tu sepanjang hidup I, I tried my best not to complain and whining, because it doesn’t do any good. I believe in that. I believe in positive thinking. Oh bunyi macam tahyul kan? Tkkan la berfikiran positif semua benda boleh jadi ok and mengikut seperti apa yg kiter rancang?

Positive thinking – isn’t realistic [bermakna berfikiran positif terhadap semua benda adalah tahyul]

but….

Negative thinking – is realistic [bermakna berfikiran negatif adalah perkara yg betul2 akan terjadi, so adakah kamu mahu benda negatif berlaku??]

I realized that I often think to “Retire Young”….do you think retiring at the age of 29 is considered as retire young? Even-though I haven’t made up my mind yet whether not to continue to work again in future, shall everything goes well and manage to achieve all my goals, I would be so proud to be one of few young retiree. Dan secara tk langsung my wishful thinking to retire young somehow is materializing without me noticing it!

There are many ways on how you can attract wealth and have some freedom to be with your family, travelling, beribadat and buat kerja2 sukarela. Am not saying buat Usana boleh kaya boleh pencen muda ok. Walaupon I tk deny that Usana is indeed a good source of income. Tapi insyallah ada byk cara lain lagi. Whatever it is, you have to start on something! Least you can do perhaps write a blog dulu! Mesti kene ada first move. Don’t just sit and do nothing. If direct selling business is not your thing, pergilah masuk kelas buat cake or kelas menjahit or kelas melukis. Apa sahaja! Asalkan di kemudian hari….berbaloi-baloi

Need some tips on how you can retire young? Drop your comment in the comment box ok I can’t advise on how to retire rich YET [sbb I belum jutawan lagi]. But will do once I menuju ke arah jutawan ok. I don’t want to be just another blogger, I wannabe a millionaire who writes blog!
