Wooden frame in black with picture of the baby, daisy flower in a bottle, chalkboard table greet tag, polkadot table runner and candle in glass to halau lalat. Huhu.
I know…I know…I have few entries pending and stories going stale, but better late than never. Even though at this time, am so tempted to write about our football team, but I guess that has to wait. Apa-apa pon congrats to Malaysia!
I made this on the eve of the event. Sangat2 last minute because my friend requested it. Sebaik sempat siap
Nampak simple, but the signage was actually printed on piece of paper, glued on the board and shrink wrap with shrink wrap film to keep the paper intact.
Last weekend I was busy preparing decorations for my friend’s kenduri (aqiqah for her son) It was my first time experience decorating for an event and I was glad that it was only a set of simple decorations as I don’t think I can handle big event just yet. Lots to learn, especially time management.
Another set of centerpiece, this one comes with baby’s biodata
So about the event, I was being informed by my friend (customer) that the theme would be “English” and color scheme for the event would be red & black. Even though I think pastel colors is more suitable for “aqiqah” ceremony, but I honored my friend’s request still. The cradle was a huge pumpkin cradle and surrounded with teddy bears. Sorry no picture also because I was working hard that day. Huhu.
Another baby in the family that being celebrated. Different set of centerpiece. I love to combine more than 2 types of decorations to give more variety. This set comes with a zink tub with bunch of flowers (compose by my husband
) , white black table runner, table greet tag, wooden frame and candle in orange skin (the orange has been removed leaving the skin that I used as a candle pot)
This one comes with the other baby’s photo
So these are a few shots of the decorations. Very decent, nothing huge. I supplied the guest table center pieces, table runner, chalkboard table greeting tag, chalkboard style menu label and buffet table center piece. But later I spotted a wooden table in the gazebo so, I decided to take the buffet centerpiece and place it on the wooden table. It’s nicer there. But too bad I don’t have a picture of it, as I didn’t have much time to snap pictures around.
Front top part view of the dress
Other than decorations, she also ordered a pair of 2-piece dress to be worn on that day. The day she confirmed the order was actually pretty late, I have less than 4 weeks to make the dress and as she sent me the payment I quickly sketched the design (can check the sketch here ) , fabric scouting, send it to my seamstress and beader for doing the 3D flowers and beading. It was a very fast forward process with no FITTING! Can you guys imagine? It was kinda panicking as I don’t like my customer to take the clothes without trying it first before my eyes, because I don’t want them to feel worried or unsatisfied when the fitting isn’t perfect. But in this case, I know my friend wouldn’t mind (but I don’t take that for granted, I still prepared the dress the best I could). Thank god everything went well, she fits the dress nicely and she looks fantastic

The only full frame picture of Rufida wearing the outfit that I made for her that I manage to snap. Ini pon mcm curi-curi ambil sekejap sbb marhaban semua tgh berlangsung masa ni. Fid pon tk sempat nak betul-betulkan her baju sbb she was carrying her son masa tu. So sorry tersenget-senget. He shawl pon wasn’t properly fall into it’s position. Insyallah we will be having a special photo shoot session for Fid featuring the same outfit soon.
Everything went quite smooth and in case my husband reading this (I know he wouldn’t, he seldom read my blog, this year…never once pon huhu), I just wanna say thank you soooooo much to him for being such a helpful, supportive and good husband. He knew that I was too busy to prepare my baju for the event, without me asking him to…he ironed my baju kurung. And he also woke up very early the next morning to help me arrange all the decorations stuff in the car including the flowers. And when I was preparing the deco at site, he’s willingly to help me to cut the flowers and put it in the vase, yeah he did all that. So dear, I just want you to know that I wouldn’t be able to make it this far if it’s not because of you. From the bottom of my heart…thank you so much for being a husband, cheerleader and a best friend.

It’s monday again and unlike previously (when I was still working 9-5), Monday is less busy and tiring compare to weekend. Now my weekend is rather too hectic, full with appointments and plans.
That can’t be avoided because only during weekend my husband can drive me around. Huhu. My ultimate weakness (among many other weaknesses) is am a road blind , with gps even worse haha. Plus, am not really a good driver especially at night. That day, kami on the way back, and husband was sleepy so I offered myself to drive. Dekat-dekat nk sampai dekat rumah, I wasn’t sure how I ended up driving in a wrong lane. Jalan tu ada 2 side lah mcm biasa and tengah2 ada divider. So, suppose I kene drive di sebelah kiri tapi I mcm tersalah masuk junction ke apa tah I found myself driving di lorong kanan! And all the cars coming from the opposite direction high-beam-ed me. My husband yg sedap2 tidur dekat belakang, terus terkejut and cepat2 pasangkan hazard light.
Lucky the next simpang very near only, so jumpa simpang I quickly made a turn. Crazy and dangerous kan? Huhu…ada berani nk naik kereta dgn I tak? Hahaha…
Husband : Macam mana boleh jadi mcm tu????
Me : Entah…
Imran and mini Imran
Sedondon ahaks! I saje pilih color yg contra and out of the norm sket, sbb dh boring dgn color yg biasa2 so I chose combo of green and blue. My attire from top (dari inner) to toe is by Nilam Boutique (of course la kan sbb I tauke nya huhu) Except my shoes is Crocs. Insyallah soon Nilam akan buat custom shoes juga:)
Amacam over tak? Pengantin dekat belakang, kiterorg kt depan sibuk bergambar. Huhu.
Neway, weekend was fun we went to Sunway Lagoon on Saturday and attended a family wedding on Sunday. The wedding was held at Taman Manjalara, very pretty
So, I cut the story short just enjoy the pictures ok. Sorry la byk sgt gambar yg ada muka I, hehe sekali sekala camwhoring buat sehabis baik yo. Have a good day!
Ichiro’s tie is by Nilam Boutique juga

Happy Mother’s Day

I’m a little free tonight
How r you guys doin’? hope it’s still not too late for me to wish all mothers out there happy mother’s day. It’s my second time celebrating mother’s day and to be honest I still feel a wee bit strange whenever husband and the entire family wish me happy mother’s day. I was like…gosh am a mother now!? Like mcm baru tersedar. Bet am gonna feel the same every year.
At first I thought my husband lupa nak wish me, sbb malam tu dia tidur awal terbongkang dengan Ichiro and me, sama2 terbongkang juga, but I woke up at 4 am to finish up my work and then tidur balik pukul 9 pagi. Then bangun, tengok-tengok jam dah pukul 3 petang. Darn! overslept!
I asked my husband why didn’t he wake me up, and he said it’s mother’s day, so he just want me to rest. How sweet
Actually, I won’t complain even if he forgets as he has been a good husband, very supportive (without his support I dare not quit my job to run my own home biz) and helps me a lot especially in raising our intan payung (ichiro). Sometimes, I think he’s a better mother than me for Ichiro and our future kids insyallah.
Then, malam tu jugak we went to watch Thor. Normally, ahad malam kami takkan tengok wayang lewat, sbb esoknya nk kerja, tapi since it’s mother’s day, husband willing to go out for a date with me. Hihi yippie! Balik dari movie pukul 1.30 pagi, Ichiro dah tertido dengan pak su dia. Kesian.
Speaking of mother, let’s pray for the 2 year old child yang hilang/lemas di air terjun. Amin.
Till then, bye!
A peek to awesomeness ;)

Went to One Utama Daiso store with hubster and little son to buy some cute boxes for my cookies. Intend to make some more sample icing cookies for wedding favor. Last 2 weeks, my mom and I tried to experiment with other method for making the cookies, but the outcome was not so pleasing. The method is fine, it just that there were flaws in the execution, so am thinking to give it another shot next week.
My husband Imran will need to attend a 3 day training, so I think I wanna balik kampung and make cookies. I would surely bored to death if he’s not around to hear me whining, so wanna keep myself busy with cookies instead
Oh and another thing this Thursday , Imran will be out again for a drive with Inspira. This time they gonna drive the car up to 300 kilometers, that’s pretty far ok! Hope that he won’t be too tired and drained after long ride, sbb balik rumah he got to look after Ichiro plak as I will be working to finish up few more design before going back to my hometown.
While we were eating at OU, husband told me that Proton Inspira doesn’t has any timing belt. Meaning we don’t need to change the timing belt like we usually do. Changing timing belt is not cheap kan? Nk kene angkat engine keluar, busuk2 plus with other services sure kene close to RM1k. But Proton Inspira uses a chain instead. Then I tanya my husband chain ni kene tukar ker? Husband cakap tk perlu, but I pon tk sure betul ker tak la. Hihih. If rosak kene la tukar kan rasanya? Maybe kene tukar if chain dah haus or rosak jer la. Not like time belt where you need to change it for every 10k km? Ker berapa eh? I pon tak ingat dah. I used to remember it masa zaman I dok hantar service kereta sendiri.
Ok before I start talking like a car salesman better I move on with Lonia recent orders. I’m better at selling chocolate and cookies rather than car I guess? Heheh. Here are few pictures of our recent orders, there are special gift box for wedding anniversary, hamper, unique hand bouquet, personalise edible image for a company and etc. For more pictures, kindly head to Lonia fan page at http://www.facebook.com/loniavillage
Special gift box with personalise edible image lolli oreo in pink and purple
Wedding anniversary gift for Nurul’s parent. In this particular gift box, we introducing our special design personalise edible image in love/heart shape, which is proud to announce only available at Lonia!
Lolli Oreo with company logo. Gift tag and edible image both designed by Lonia
A unique and naughty hand bouquet instead. Aidah want this for her good friend. The lips are edible of course
So, maybe it’s time for you to send an edible kisses to your loved one, rather than just roses? No?
2 set of almost identical chocolate hamper. Different only for the size. Let’s forget the pyramid type of hamper which often can be found at school sport event. We are now in the new era, the world is evolving so does hamper and gift basket. No? We reckon this type of hamper is even more suitable and pretty and provide an exclusive touch to any event, especially a high profile event.
We are currently working on the website, am hoping for the website to be ready in a week. As am really in need of a proper website rather than just a facebook fan page. Facebook sometimes can be soooooo annoying. I would not recommend facebook for business. I mean ok boleh lah if for marketing and to get more exposure from a big network, mmg facebook is the best but business is not about marketing and getting more people to know your products, but it is also about how fast you can respond to inquiry and how organize you are with schedules and delivery. Facebook punye messaging system pon sucks big time. So, if you think you are serious with your biz, I would highly encourage to develop a special website. Lagi organize and stable. Don’t be too depending on Facebook.
Till then….
