Misteri kehilangan biskut Farley’s

23 years ago when I was still a kid and my brother was still a baby, my mom always bought him Farley’s  Rusks biscuit. The Farley’s biscuit was sold in a nice tall slim tin [like the Pringles] way back then. Since we were not really have much money to spend on luxury, thus even food also we need to share among siblings as well as vitamins like the Scott Emulsion. Except biscuit Farley’s. Yes the biscuit was solely only for my little brother. Not sure whether not my mom had bought the biscuit for me also when I was a baby, I syak ada kot. It just that, when I grew fat, my mom stopped over feeding me. Hihih. I was like gemuk giler masa kecik-kecik dulu.

The thing is, I love biscuit Farley’s so much. Normally, my mom will gave me some portion, because every time my mom bukak tin tu, I dah setia tunggu tepi my mom, waiting….mana la tahu ada rezeki I dapat dat day kan. But, sometimes I can’t help myself from drooling over the biscuit. I kept on checking the biscuit in the kitchen secretly. Amik bau pun dah cukup best dah. But, things get really nasty then, the vanilla-butter smell of the biscuit was really tempting. Hence, often I will took 1 biscuit a day from the tin. Hihi. My mom always wonder why la the biskut cepat jer habis? Hehe.

Farley’s biscuit today is as tempting as before. Last week we bought 2 boxes and one of it is orange flavor for Ichiro [ehem...and for someone yg secretly makan biskut tu jugak]

him: apasal u makan biskut ichiro ni?
me: i nk rasa la
him: kenapa pulak nk rasa?
me: yerlah mana tahu orange flavor tu tk sedap ker, nnt ichiro buang pulak.
him: [muka tk puas hati, sbb I dah makan 2 ketul masa tu, kalau nk rasa pon tkkan la sampai 2 kan?]

OMG…tinggal 1!

Since Imran is not around. I have full access to Ichiro’s food. Muahaha. And I really really really need to stop current habit that is developing which is curik makan biskut Ichiro di malam hari whenever I’m feeling hungry while surfing the net. Hari ni baru sedar, biskut Ichiro dah tinggal seketul jer. Imran for sure will notice and question me later.

Damnn…why la baby’s food sedap sangat?

Sup Kaw Kelana Jaya

Sup Kaw entrance

My husband and myself love to hang out together. Even though, we have a baby , we make a point to spend time together at least once a week. We will do it more than once a week if time permit.

Since we love to hang out together, it’s always thrill to look for new spot to lepak-lepak. Our favourite lepak area of course la Kelana Jaya. Why? Because we can find variety of food there and KJ is pretty near to our house. So, if Ichiro does not want to cooperate with grandpa and grandma, we can come to rescue immediately.

We were starving like hell the other day during Usana group meeting. First half of the meeting, masih gagah lagi, bila masuk second half, I dah start dah keriuk keriuk. Bisik-bisik dekat Imran ajak balik sbb nk makan. Huhu. Habis jer meeting, kiterorg terus lari keluar. Hahah. Lagipon thinking we need to put Ichiro to sleep as well. Thus, we really need to rush then.

We straight heading to Kelana Jaya and Imran suddenly parked the car in front of Giant.

me: nk makan kt mana ni?
him: kt sini la, dekat Sup Kaw
me: oh itu? sedap ker?
him: entah.

Great just great. Org lapar mcm nk mati, bleh dia gamble nk makan kt kedai yg tk penah try before this. But, since I was starving to death, I don’t really care, org serve batu pon I rasa I belasah jer kot time tu [over exaggerate ni]

So, apa ada dekat Sup Kaw ni? But firstly, sorrie la ok, it was dark and gambar pon harus la legam-legam belaka.

Masa sampai2, terus nampak garage kereta dgn lori. I macam, hadoi tak nyaman langsung la pemandangan. Huhu. Tapi bila masuk area kedai,hmmm agak nyaman disitu. Ada screen besar. Masa tu tgh tayang Die Hard 4. So, layan kejap. Kire ok la, at least tkder la kiteorg rasa cam nk makan orang kan. Sbb dah lapar sangat-sangat.

Tengok-tengok kiri kanan, I think ambient is quite soothing. Ada small fountain…hmm fountain ker? Tatau la I apa nama sebenar tempat air keluar tu, then ada jugak area yg terang sket la, so makan pon baru ada feel tgk cili, udang semua. But we chose to sit at the lower area, because nearer to the screen. Lagipon mcm dah takder tenaga nak panjat tangga. Nnt takut pengsan. [haha alasan, sebenarnya malas]

Area ni romantic sket, tapi byk lampu takut ada terlebih romantik kot. huhu.

Food diaorg serve quite fast despite ramai customers that night. So. thumbs up for that. Taste wise, not bad i think. Hmmm but my judgement cud be little bit uncertain there, sbb nyer I was starved to death remember? and did I mention above kalau kasik batu pon I belasah jugak? so,maknanya wpun food malam tu mungkin tk sedap, I might not aware. Tapi on second thought , I was not under the influence of morphine or something, so my mind can still think straight and my stomach won’t lie in any circumstances. So, the food was quite good, average la. Average kedai2 food tomyam .

Wpun the food was quite good, I was careful enough to eat it properly, supaya tak ada yg tercampak mcm kes makan dekat “Periuk Besar“. I make sure, semua tercampak masuk mulut I jer la. Ehe. Yumm yumm.

Will I come back and dine there? Yeah, why not? Ada screen besar, ada box office movie…for sure will come back. Good spot jugak ni nk borak-borak Usana Saper nk meet up utk discuss detail about Usana? I belanja Sup Kaw. Hehe. Hmm to think again, yerlah I should try the soup, the name the shop after the soup. Mesti special nih.

Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar

I shed another kilo last week. My weight has been stagnant for the past 3 weeks but it didn’t terrify me because I know that it’s pretty normal. Despite of not shedding any kilos, I’d noticed that my body is actually getting smaller! I can now fit into my prenatal yoga pants!! Well, it’s no doubt that losing weight naturally always taking longer time than super fast diet pills. However it is really worth waiting. Natural means, it will adjust your weight to be proportionate with your body size and frame. This for sure will take sometimes. Am pretty confident that you don’t want an oversize boobs with a nice lean body right? So, give Usana Nutrimeal some times to work things out for you. What you need to do just…..drink the Nutrimeal twice a day! As simple as that.  So far I’ve lost about 7 kilos in total. A reminder to myself, not to be too comfortable with my current weight as I’m still far from my target.

Talking about losing weight healthily and deliciously… well, since I’m taking the Nutrimeal shake for breakfast and lunch, I always want to reward myself with good food during dinner. So, makan malam adalah sangat dinanti and sangat puas hati makan bila satu hari sudah diet bukan? Sama macam perasaan ketika berbuka puasa.

In the course of scouting a new place to lepak and makan-makan in Kelana Jaya, my husband and I spotted a new chicken rice shop. The name of the shop was quite interesting “Nasi Ayam Periuk Besar” and we decided to give it a try.

I was looking for any sign of “periuk besar” as I entered the restaurant but to no avail. But anyhow, the premise is clean, comfy, nice ambient and complete with WIFI. I like the theme color as well. Orange is always rejuvenating.

Nasi Ayam Dot Mai

It’s actually our second time to dine in there. During our very first visit, I ordered “Nasi Ayam Panggang” and the taste was soooo good [my first choice was actually Nasi Ayam Dot Mai but it has been sold out at that time] I macam pelik sbb baru pukul 6 petang nasi tu dah habis. So, smlm I tried to order Nasi Ayam Dot Mai, nasib baik ada lagi. But bila kiterorg nk tapau another one, dah habis la pulak. Huhuh. Obviously, yg I order for myself tu adalah last kopek punye. Ehe.

The taste? Hmmmm….SETAPPPPPPP! No wonder laku mcm tiket bola manchester [bukan arsenal okay]..<—confirm tahun depan tk ajak dah datang open house ni. Dia ada rasa mcm rempah-rempah sket and I makan sampai tertumpah nasi atas meja. Hahaha buruk betulllll. Tk lama lepas tu, husband I pulak tercampak ayam atas lantai. Hahahaha. Kelakar. So tagline yg sesuai utk nasi ayam ini adalah..

“Sedap Sehingga Tercampak!”

Paru

hi guys..

anda semua kenal tak apekah itu paru?
Mrs Imran ni dok mengidam paru sejak hari isnin lepas..
Dia mengidam paru tapi tak bgtau pon aku..
Hari Isnin – Khamis, ke-idam-an paru ni tidak memanggil pon Mrs Imran utk mencarinye.
Tapi ntah kenapa hari Jumaat, ke-idam-an paru ni ternyata luar biasa..
So on the way pegi ofis, my wife ni telah singgah untuk membeli nasi lemak berdekatan ofisnye.
Sblm beratur tu, my wife pegi usha makanan & ternyata ada paru !
Mase my wife ni beratur, ade la 2,3 org depan dia.
Bile sampai turn pompuan dpn my wife ni, paru tu dah tinggal sket dh..
And tau2 pompuan dpn my wife telah order paru yg tinggal sket tu..
Kempunan abis Mrs Imran x dpt makan..So petang Jumaat tu, lepas balik kerja,
Mrs Imram pon citer la kat aku pasal paru ni..n korang nk tau tak ?
Aku yg dpt mkn paru dulu sbb aku ada order Nasi Lemak Paru ngan
pakcik kt tmpt kerja aku tu for my Jumaat breakfast..

So lepas tau yg my wife idam paru, aku telah berjanji utk mencari paru
keesokan harinye..Mane la nk cari nasi lemak paru yg panas malam2..
Early Saturday morning, my wife kejut aku and lepas Subuh, i was off on a mission.
Mula2 pegi kt tepi balai polis Sea Park ( Nasi lemak kukus kt sini..Sedap ! )
tapi malangnya tkde paru. So next and last place is Medan Selera Sukom.
Tempat pakcik kt tmpt kerja aku beli. Terpaksa tunggu 15 minit sbb
ade beberapa org telah queue before.. But the wait was worthwhile as i
did get to take the paru..hehhe mission accomplished.
