Darwis Ichiro – 9 months old

Wah Ichiro sekarang hari2 makin la buat rambut i gugur. Kene tarik rambut satu la kan, pastu dgn dia yg tk reti duduk diam, meliuk lintuk tk tentu pasal, mmg buat I mengucap banyak kali. Ehe.

Sekarang ni, baring salah, dukung tk nak…nk crawl jer 24hrs. Bukan tanak kasik, tapi rumah ni ada kucing so cam bulu2 byk kt atas lantai, wpun dah mop hari2 still kucing tu masuk rumah hari-hari jugak kan. So jadinya cam tk berapa nk kasik dia crawl. Kalau kt rumah kampung I boleh, sbb we don’t have pet.

Memanjat satu lagi hal yg buat I gugur rambut. Like mcm semua benda nk dipanjat. Katil, meja, kerusi, piano…semua benda lah. Kalau dibiarkan agaknya dah panjat sampai ke langit.

Pastu semua benda nk masuk mulut. Arghhhh. Gigi baru nk tumbuh 2, karang gigit macam-macam takut rosak gigi senget benget. Kasik teether tk laku. Saper tahu teether yg baby suka? Sbbnya, Ichiro ni mcm tahu teether is a teether and dia akan gigit sekejap jer lepas tu buang. Tk laku. And then will demand for hard stuff like remote astro and handphone. I think all babies are the same. Remote astro mmg jadi pujaan hati. So seriously, kalau ada sesapa tahu teether yg best yg baby suka, do let me know eh. Nk beli jugak.

Ichiro sekarang boleh stay awake up to 5 hours. Tapi kalau dengan I, I make sure the most pon 3 hours. Lepas tu dia mesti kene tidur and isi minyak (minum susu). Sebabnya, kalau jadual tidur dia tk betul, he will ended up cranky and jadi grumpy and botakkan kepala daddy dia pulak. Hee. Ok la, enjoy some recent pics of Ichiro. I took it masa tgh main-main with him. Agak mencabar sbbnya he wants to reach for the camera. So jadinya, I just simply snap mana-mana yg sempat. Sambil layan customer Usana, reply email, sambil look after my son, sambil ambil gambar…talking about multitasking

My Brother & Singer sewing machine

Well, I did mention in my previous entry here that I would put up some photos of my new sewing machine. Sadly, haven’t got the chance to do so, sorry. My mom had placed the machine inside our old house [made of wood, with zinc roofing], and it’s pretty hot in there during day time, close to temperature of a burning oven. Hence, comfortable to sew during night time only, and the lighting is very poor so end up I didn’t take any photos.

But fret not, the machine now is no longer in our wooden house. We moved it into the brick house [ehe], so that I could use the machine whenever I got the chance to [read as whenever Ichiro is sleeping]. Good news, I also have a couple of photos of the machines.

I had a tough time using the machine in the beginning. Even though the machine is semi-computerised, but for someone like me who had zero knowledge about sewing , it could be a nightmare

Things getting worst, when my mom also having trouble to familiarize herself with the machine. She kept on making noise on how difficult to sew thick and soft fabric with the machine that I newly bought [my mom was a tailor, has been sewing for about 20-30 years].

I love the machine, I love new technology, I love gadget. But sewing machine ain’t a computer or handphone or camera that I can just simply explore. Sewing machine is super sensitive with the needles and moving mechanical parts, you need to really know what you are doing. I chose Brother over many other brand because of…errrrr…I don’t know. Simply attracted to it, mungkin sbb ia canggih, semi-computerised. Yeah I love everything about computer and if I boleh surf internet dgn sewing machine ni sure lagi best. Huhuh.

But ever since I got more access to the machine [thanks to the new placement], am starting to develop my skills using the machine, had done some googling on tips and proper method to sew via the internet. But was bit frustrated since I couldn’t find video tutorial that I want, thus I thought that maybe I could make video tutorial / tips for beginner. I truly understand the agony and suffer that beginner need to go through, so I hope I can share little knowledge that I have about sewing. Expert can watch but please don’t laugh Hehe.

In the video I will use my own sewing macine and serger/overlock machine which are Brother Innovis 50 – NV50 and Singer. Thus, please refrain from asking me on how to use other brand ok.

Remember in my previous entry I wrote that Ichiro went out with grandpa to the park, so that I could have my own “me” time. About half an hour visiting the park, my dad brought home my son in his arm. Dad said that Ichiro had fallen asleep while playing the swing. Later dad showed me video of Ichiro. Poor boy, he was so tired until tertido masa main swing. Hihi. Here goes short video. Sorry the quality of the video was not that good because ayah guna henfon biasa-biasa jer. Not a smartphone.

Aqiqah – Part 1

Alhamdulillah aqiqah kenduri went so well. Ichiro was kinda on adrenalin rush on that day, he didn’t really want to sleep, mcm excited nk main. He managed to take few minutes nap through out the day tho. The longest he slept about 2 hours before the Marhaban group perform.

While waiting for the “cukur jambul” session, Ichiro and the newborn berak ok, both at the same time. Arghhh Haha. So kiterorg pon sibuk berkungfu nk cuci our babies, with our white attire it made things more challenging for us. Karang tk pasal2 terpalit2. Dah la Ichiro siap nk makan paip sekarang ni. Glad that we managed to clean up Ichiro’s bottom without jeopardizing our attire.

Grandma to Ichiro loves red so much, that’s explain why both babies were in RED [not because of CNY] Me and Imran would love to thank Hani and Mama for the shirt that they bought for Ichiro [at first I thot it was a GUESS, huhu lawa! turned out it is PONEY] and lovely gown for Alisya. I like it so much until I think I wanna be a baby also so that I could wear that little red riding hood gown The gown is tailored made for Alisya because grandma said she can’t find any beautiful gown for newborn with the right material [girl gown usually using organza material]. Baby won’t feel comfortable wearing organza. Yeah, I do agree with that and Alisya gown is so flowing. Love it! Opps no picture for the babies with red outfit, none taken by my camera. Need to wait for the picture from photographer.

Cukur jambul session went pretty fast. Tkder ramai pon yg kasi Ichiro free hair cut since Ichiro is a big boy already, so he doesn’t like people man handle him. I was rather thankful too, sbb tkder la rambut my son botak tk sekata. Ehe. Alisya pon cranky, tk suka and rimas kot.

Straight after that, jamuan makan2 bermula. Our son dah start berpeluh-peluh pakai corduroy and shirt. Hehe. Wpun berat hati nk tukar baju dia yg hensem tu, we hafto jugak sbb kesian tgk dia rasa tk bebas sbb terlalu kacak. Lepas tukar ligat balik la main.

I was also super excited to see my bloggers friends. Wanna thank you guys sbb sudi datang. Khai yg mula-mula sampai with his partner followed by the rest of  other bloggers Lina, Farah, Isma, Munirah, Ary and Am. Poor Puteri she didn’t manage to locate our house, perhaps next time I need to ask Imran to draw a better map.

Am and Isma

Imran and Amir. Kawan dah lama since both of them were still schooling in Bukit Bintang Boys School. Amir got a twin brother. The world is indeed small, happen to be Amir’s twin brother Amin was actually my Science Muar schoolmate and ehem he is my old crush. Huhuh. But, I think he never noticed me anyway. Huhu.I dulu mcm invisible.

Lina [purple ] , Ary & Nas [middle] and Farah + baby [tangan farah cam laju giler suap mulut..hihi] Ary baru jer gave birth to Rafael. Does she looks like she just giving birth? Baru 2 bulan. Damnn. Tk aci. She and her husband is actually my direct upline in Usana.

Group picture with all the bloggers, lawa tak kasut I? Hehe. Cuba cari mana Ichiro? Baju I pakai tu dah terlalu longgar for me, am still appear chubby wearing it. Maybe because of the size, will show later how big the baju for me. Baju tu sebenarnya kebaya, but now dh jadi kebarung. Huhu.

Ichiro yg curious. Suruh kiss, gi tarik telinga pulak. Nasib baik Syirah cool jer.

Isma and partner Isma next time u boleh bawak ur dad sekali ok Isma ni downline Usana I. Masa nk beli Usana, email i tk berhenti2 sampai nk pecah inbox haku. Ada 50 email kot ? [hahah exaggerate sudah tentu] Sebaik beli ok, kalau tak confirm I hangennn. Haha. But not bad, dia pon antara distributor yg sangat rajin jugak Tahukah anda adik Isma adalah pemain badminton Malaysia? Hehe sbb tu beli Usana dulu, utk adik dia.

Khai and Tini. Yer khai adalah lelaki and he reads my blog. But I think my blog ni unisex la. We know each other via blog for several years dah. Dah 5 years ke eh Khai? Neway, I like Tini, mcm dh 10 tahun kenal. She’s very very friendly and bubbly. Ok Khai, meh bawak masuk Usana. Bagus org2 peramah mcm Tini ni, apa pon boleh jual Me and Khai actually has one thing in common We love politic so much, I still remember masa PRU, Khai dok sms kt I lapor bilangan undi. Haha. Ada rupa YB tak Khai ni?

This is Lina. Lina ni mcm kejap ada kejap takder. But normally bila I invite keluar dinner or meet up, dia selalu ada. Itu la bagusnya Lina ni Get to know her via blog also. Pon dah about 5 years. Sejak I baru kahwin. Sejak dia duduk Dublin, Ireland, kahwin and dah balik mesia balik. Hehe, how’s time flies eh. Hobby dia dari tulis advert dekat blog, sampai la buat scrap book, beli kamera lomo dekat Ebay and sekarang dh expert amik gambar wedding guna lomo. Haa dashat tk dashat?

Ini Am. First time jumpa dia and baru jer kenal kt blog masa I buat entry invitation aqiqah tu. Hehe. Tapi cool! Dia dpt datang and I adalah jakun ok. Hihih. Tapi tk dpt borak banyak2 sbb, she was among yg sampai and balik awal Hehe. Kesian hubby dia dh penat, but Am, next time I jemput datang lagi yer Syirah budak paling cool I pernah jumpa.

Ini Munirah dgn Uzair. Malas cerita pasal Munirah, sbb cam semua org kenal dia. Huhu.

It always facinate me to see kid yg pandai makan. Hope Ichiro nnt pon senang nk makan. Uzair makan mee kari and mushroom soup. Tiba2 lapar tgk gambar uzair ni. Dush!

Ni western corner ada chicken chop

The food was not that good. It wasn’t our first time with the caterer neway, it has been many many many times. Tapi utk kali ni dgn mee kari yg so-so and kambing roasted yg liat, hmm I think she [the caterer] could do better. But, I love the ais kacang and western corner tho. Normally lauk kambing, she will cook rendang kambing berkuah or entah apa la nama dia, mmg sedap sampai u akan sedut sum-sum tulang kambing tu. Mmg leleh la. Tapi since kali ni Hani mcm nk rasa kambing pangang, so she ordered that la. Last-last menyesal. Hahah. But, it wasn’t that bad, it just that liat. Saper yg gigi kuat sure menikmati dgn aman.

Pantang lalu dekat Ais Kacang corner ni, sure mintak satu, 5 kali lalu, 5 kali order

But, it was fun. Kiteorg melepak makan sampai kol 9 malam. Rasa macam melepak dekat mamak or warung-warung. And caterer tu pon willing to wait until we betul-betul dah surrender makan. Hehe. I asik dok order ais kacang tk berhenti-henti. Ahhh gumuksssss! I think I ate 5 bowl altogether. Goshhh.

Update: despite kambing and 5 mangkuk ais kacang, I weigh 50.5kg today. Yup getting closer to my target! I’m only shy about 4.5kg to my dream weight.

Misteri kehilangan biskut Farley’s

23 years ago when I was still a kid and my brother was still a baby, my mom always bought him Farley’s  Rusks biscuit. The Farley’s biscuit was sold in a nice tall slim tin [like the Pringles] way back then. Since we were not really have much money to spend on luxury, thus even food also we need to share among siblings as well as vitamins like the Scott Emulsion. Except biscuit Farley’s. Yes the biscuit was solely only for my little brother. Not sure whether not my mom had bought the biscuit for me also when I was a baby, I syak ada kot. It just that, when I grew fat, my mom stopped over feeding me. Hihih. I was like gemuk giler masa kecik-kecik dulu.

The thing is, I love biscuit Farley’s so much. Normally, my mom will gave me some portion, because every time my mom bukak tin tu, I dah setia tunggu tepi my mom, waiting….mana la tahu ada rezeki I dapat dat day kan. But, sometimes I can’t help myself from drooling over the biscuit. I kept on checking the biscuit in the kitchen secretly. Amik bau pun dah cukup best dah. But, things get really nasty then, the vanilla-butter smell of the biscuit was really tempting. Hence, often I will took 1 biscuit a day from the tin. Hihi. My mom always wonder why la the biskut cepat jer habis? Hehe.

Farley’s biscuit today is as tempting as before. Last week we bought 2 boxes and one of it is orange flavor for Ichiro [ehem...and for someone yg secretly makan biskut tu jugak]

him: apasal u makan biskut ichiro ni?
me: i nk rasa la
him: kenapa pulak nk rasa?
me: yerlah mana tahu orange flavor tu tk sedap ker, nnt ichiro buang pulak.
him: [muka tk puas hati, sbb I dah makan 2 ketul masa tu, kalau nk rasa pon tkkan la sampai 2 kan?]

OMG…tinggal 1!

Since Imran is not around. I have full access to Ichiro’s food. Muahaha. And I really really really need to stop current habit that is developing which is curik makan biskut Ichiro di malam hari whenever I’m feeling hungry while surfing the net. Hari ni baru sedar, biskut Ichiro dah tinggal seketul jer. Imran for sure will notice and question me later.

Damnn…why la baby’s food sedap sangat?
