Sometimes I wonder why am such a sucker for gadgets? If I were to be given a choice, I would definitely choose gadgets over handbags. I love handbags too, but I love gadget more. Surely, it could be lot easier if I can have everything I want in this world, but for now I think handbags can wait. [but hope not too long lah...]

I have been shouting and showing tantrum [ok I exaggerate] ever since I got back from my latest vacation trip, Tioman Island. I want an underwater camera, that is! Everybody knows why I want that camera I guess. If you don’t seem to understand why, here are some of the reasons….

EASY TO FOCUS

We [my husband and I] were using a lousy camera to snap this photo. No offence to lomo lovers ok. I do love lomo ..a lotttt, but when it comes to underwater photography, I think it is much easier to use digital camera rather than “ancient” camera that uses film.

I found it sooo difficult to focus with the super small view finder! Since, I am so used with digital camera big screen for image display, using view finder underwater really testing my patience . With snorkeling equipment covering 85% of our face, we can’t even bring our eyes close the view finder, let alone to focus! So, we just simply press the button to snap. Look at that picture it’s  an ultimate mess with the subject is errr…everywhere?  I really want to say BIG thanks to the camera since more than half of the film wasted simply because of we couldn’t focus. Thank you soo much.

Well, underwater creatures such as fish, starfish or shark [if you are lucky] are not things that you can see everyday [except if you are an "orang pulau"]. It’s rare. Hence, when you got those tiny chances to capture moments of you swimming with fish [or shark again if you are lucky], you surely want to capture everything and every seconds without silly gadget mishandle [we missed lots of precious moment, including  a chance to snap a photo of shark [no joke], because we were too busy counting how many times we have rolled the film, how many film has left, did the flash has already being turned on or not and ya da ya da. Bummer!

This photo could have been better if I had a water-proof camera like the Sony TX5 because IT CAN BE ORIGINALLY BEAUTIFUL WITHOUT THE AID OF PHOTOSHOP

Thanks to Photoshop for such a nice software, without photoshop I don’t think these photo can turned out to be this good. Here I show you the photo before and after being edited by photoshop. Can you see now the ugly truth? [oklah not dat ugly] Haha, but yeah, the colours of the original photos were somewhat dull and gloomy. Obviously, it lacks of the vibrant hue and somehow fail to capture the real excitement that we were having underwater. So, I think the latest digital underwater camera should be able to capture the excitement and pretty colours beautifully, no?

It will be great also if I had a water-proof camera like the Sony TX5 because MY CURRENT CAMERA CAN’T STAND THE SHOCK/VIBRATION {sorry no picture to show, since all shaky photos has been erased from my camera}

I got shocked of my life when my cute pink Sony camera suddenly behaving strangely. At first I felt as if the internal mechanical parts are moving and shocking rapidly. I didn’t suspect anything and just thought could be because I’ve been on the boat for too long and it made me feel everything rocking and shocking. But oh boy, I was so wrong! The boat was fine, myself also fine, but the camera wasn’t. Of course I was very quick to blame the camera at first [haha] but little did I know that, the camera is innocent. It didn’t being designed to stand the vibration and shock. Silly me!

I’ve been observing friends’ verdict in regards of the underwater camera. The most talk about underwater cameras are Lumix, Panasonic and Olympus OT-800. Below are tweets from Jua about her new underwater camera Olympus OT-800. In her tweet she did also mention Sony but hmm I never heard that Sony carry an underwater camera too. It always either Lumix or Olympus, I don’t know any other brand that has a good underwater camera other than these 2 [previously]

God knows that I was hell curious about Sony underwater camera, so suddenly the answer being sent to me at one night without a need to GOOGLE for it. [Haha]. Thanks to Nuffnang.

HP TouchSmart600 PC

Maybe some of you have heard about me winning the “Blog A Trend” contest by HP computer.  Click HERE to read my winning entry. Yup, you heard it right I won the grand prize which is the latest HP TouchSmart600 PC worth RM4,988. WOW, I’m pretty impressed with myself now. Haha. This is the second time I won a gadget from online contest. The first one was 2 years back where I won myself a PS2 for my iTalk entry and for this time around, I won a latest computer by HP and it is the most expensive prize that I’d ever won so far. Adakah kerana I love gadget so much, so semua hadiah yg saya menang pon gadget-gadget belaka? If yes, god please make it happen more often. Ehe.

Alhamdullilah, rezeki Ichiro

When I discovered about the contest and prizes, I was genuinely interested to join. Firstly maybe because I love the topics. I never got a chance to write something that is beyond imagination as I think no one would show any interest to it [same goes to all my health entries also...hohoh]

Secondly the prize. I was super excited to know the generous prizes that HP offering and was thinking that maybe I should give it a try since contest Friso Gold Nuffnang adalah lauk [saguhati pon tk menang ok]. Hahaha. And I always wanted to buy a computer/laptop for my husband and he always insists for a Windows computer. I told him that I won’t buy him a computer/laptop if it is not a MAC. Once a MAC always a MAC. So, another reason for me to enter the contest is to win the computer [that apparently use Windows] and give it to my husband.

Alhamdullilah again, maybe my nawaitu nk join contest adalah mulia [giggling], finally the computer is mine! Yayy! I did plan to keep it as a secret so that I could surprise my husband later, but knowing me, I can’t wait. Imran was so happy and tersengih-sengih tk tentu arah upon hearing the news. Hihi. He quickly asked where to letak the computer. I said you need to do some housekeeping and find a place to put your new computer. And today he told me, he gonna kemas our room, shove the bed and yada yada. [semangat ok sampai nk alih katil, apakah?] Hehe..cute tho.

Nuffnang was the first published the news and followed by an email from HP acknowledging me about me winning the grand prize. Best giler!

I need to attend the prize presentation ceremony and apparently many other bloggers will attend the event too. Hmmm, what should I wear then? Will I be featured in Buletin Utama? Ahaks!

Oh btw, my husband and I went to Putrajaya today for a photo shoot session with Lina the lomo lady. She invited us for the session and I was more than happy to accept the offer. So, lets hope the pictures will turn out ok and lovely. Sbbnya guna camera lomo adalah challenging ok, kerana tidak boleh immediately check gambar yg you telah snap and tidak juga ada option utk delete. Sbb lomo pakai filem. Trend for Future Fashion & Design As I See It

Gambar Hiasan: Victoria Secret Online Shopping Store

I am about to launch an online boutique soon. A handful of internet friends has been given some hints. the rest remains clueless

Woman nowadays love to shop without a need to leave their house and struggle with traffic, parking fees, petrol and long queue. The rave on shopping online however, beneficial to many entrepreneur like myself, be it for a small or large scale business. But there’s always a setback. I used to shop online and one thing that really bothers me is the fact that I can’t try on the product before I decide to purchase it. Many times, I just depended on my god feeling and keep praying that the thing [mostly clothes] gonna fit me perfectly.

So, when it comes my turn to launch an online boutique, sizes and measurement of my products give me a severe headache. I can always opt to make a free size or 1 size fits all. But thing is, will it fits nicely? Can it really fits all? Often 1 size fits all, can’t really fits all. It’s only happen in fairy tales dear.

Since I love to imagine things [that is what people under the zodiak of cancer do best], I started to think how nice if I have a software or high tech designed computer that could turn the online shopping experience to be as close as possible to real experience, yeah like buying the product at the real mall/shop. What say you? Don’t you think it will be such a great invention? and great trend for future?

Here are details of what I have in mind about the online shopping in the future [to be more specific, my trend for future idea are best apply to online boutique]

The scan-gadget can be something like this

• I’m imagining there will be a computer gadget that could scan our entire body to capture our body exact measurement. The gadget is either pre-install to the computer or an add on accessories. The data can be upload to an online profile or store in the gadget. If she or he put on some weight or lose weight, they can always update the profile by scanning once again. This info can be shared by all online boutique available. The gadget should be about a size of the smallest thumb drive or can be worn as accessory like a sunglass perhaps?, so we can carry it everywhere we go! Awesome!

How about trying the item virtually?

• Perhaps the same gadget also able to project a hologram image showing a reflection of the customer wearing the item they want to buy. By this way, they can see how the item gonna fit them and whether not they like what they see. Would it be great? Kalau tk dpt beli dapat acah-acah pakai pon ok gak kan? And kalau ada hologram image tu, boleh amik gambar pastu tepek kat dalam blog and tulis caption “hey jgn jeles, I’m wearing Jimmy Choo!”

Imagine you making a big [really big] decision to buy a wedding shoes by Manolo Blahnik online. Understand that you gonna need to fork an hefty amount of money to buy the shoes. There’s no way for you to fly to London to try on the shoes since you can’t afford for the air ticket [but kinda weird uh, afford to buy the shoes but not the ticket??] So, the scan-hologram gadget thingy would really come in handy!

How it works then ?

a) Ok just login to the online shopping website.
b) Connect the gadget to the computer,
c) Browse the website, pick item that you like,
d) Click the WEAR [for example] button~at this time the gadget is sending your size info to the website
e) Once done, click PROJECT [for example] button and walla! you are now seeing a reflection of yourself [like a mirror] wearing the same shoes Jessica Parker has worn in the Sex In The City movie in front of your eyes.

Then do you like what you see? [kalau tk suka u must be crazy, it's Manolo ok], proceed to pay and wait for the shoes to be deliver and you will be the most envious bride ever live on earth..hehe [ok fine I'm exaggerating]

• Owning an online shopping store in the future will be less headache since everything is computerized. Good news to clothing designer, to produce a custom order for clothing in future will be super easy. Just retrieve the particular customer measurement info [waist, bust line, etc etc] from the online profile, upload it to the computer. In the computer, there will be a clothing design software, feed the measurement info to the software and it will reproduce the selected design according to the new measurement. Once done and you are happy with it, click PRINT. No joke, it’s supa dupa easy. The custom design are now nicely printed on paper and ready for cutting and sewing. Isn’t it great?

It would be something similar to this, but my idea is for online boutique

Frankly speaking, our lifestyle in the future will be so much different from today. People will prefer something that is on the go, fast and easy access. With the gadget and clothing design software, I can shop anytime, anywhere I like and the clothing design software will help to get the perfect cut for each custom design. There will be no fitting session! Unless if my customer putting on weight And it also will cut down the unnecessary time spend on mistakes and alteration. If I know how to make a software and gadget, pretty sure I can make a fortune with these 2 invention.

Curious Kids Need To be Tough Inside

Pada suatu masa dahulu, di negeri atas langit berdekatan lapisan ozon yg menipis tinggal sebuah keluarga yang disiang harinya gemar menyanyi karaoke di majlis kenduri dan di malam harinya pula, mereka gemar menonton drama tv Nur Kasih di channel…errr [tk berapa pasti].

Keluarga itu adalah terdiri daripada sepasang suami isteri dan seorang anak lelaki yg sangat comel. Mereka sebenarnya adalah keturunan diraja dari kayangan. Tetapi oleh kerana telah tidak membayar bil Bastro selama 3 hari berturut [dinegara mereka bil Bastro perlu dibayar setiap hari], mereka sekeluarga telah dibuang negeri dan dicampakkan utk tinggal sebagai penduduk tetap di ozon.

Menurut kajian, lapisan ozon setiap hari semakin menipis dan mereka berpendapat mereka harus turun ke bumi utk mencari tempat tinggal yang baru disamping bercadang mendapatkan siaran Bastro yg bil nya datang hanya sebulan sekali.

Nama mereka ialah Mr & Mrs Pitt [bukan nama sebenar utk tujuan keselamatan] dan anak mereka adalah bernama Ichiro. Nama anak adalah nama sebenar , kerana dia masih kecil dan tidak pernah lewat membayar apa-apa bil lagi setakat ini.

Utk turun ke bumi mereka harus memastikan Ichiro mempunyai imunisasi yang tinggi dan kuat. Untuk tujuan menguatkan imunisasi Ichiro, mereka telah mempraktikkan seperti yg berikut setiap hari;

1) Memastikan Ichiro mendapat tidur yg secukupnya iaitu tidak kurang dari 8 jam sehari. Selain itu Ichiro juga masuk tidur awal setiap malam. Tidur yg cukup membolehkan Ichiro mendapatkan proses pemulihan dan penjanaan tenaga semula. [Ibu dan ayah Ichiro juga kadang-kadang masuk tidur awal. Ehe.]

2) Ibu Ichiro yang tidak tahu sangat memasak itu, telah berusaha memasak hidangan yang sihat utk mereka sekeluarga, kerana hidangan yang sihat yang lengkap dgn sayur-sayuran yg tinggi dengan antioxidant dan makanan berprotien juga bagus utk menguatkan imunisasi

3) Buah-buahan juga bagus utk dimakan utk kesihatan dan oleh kerana di negara ozon tidak ada buah-buahan tempatan, oleh itu mereka telah terpaksa mengorder online di internet. Buah-buahan dan juga sayur-sayuran mengandungi Bioflavenoids yang sangat bagus utk melindungi sel-sel badan dari pencemaran dari persekitaran.

4) Bermain dan beriadah utk latihan jasmani juga penting. Setiap petang Ichiro akan dibenarkan bermain di luar dan akan di panggil utk pulang mengaji Quran apabila hari sudah lewat petang. Mommy Ichiro kata, Ichiro kene khatam Quran sebelum sunat.

5) Minum air dengan banyak kerana kalau minum air dengan banyak toxin jus akan berkurangan dan imunisasi tidak akan menjadi lemah. Air yg bagus utk diminum adalah air kosong sahaja. Air paipsi ker, koko lala ker…adalah bolayan ok. Ais manis akan menyebabkan lebih dehydrasi.

6) Kanak-kanak juga memerlukan supplement! Ichiro sangat bertuah kerana ibunya adalah distributor supplement. Hihi. Menambah supplement atau makanan tambahan kepada diet kanak-kanak adalah bagus utk memastikan perlindungan tambahan.

7) [Dan satu amalan rahsia, yg terpaksa dirahsiakan di sini] Jika ditulis, diragui pengintip-pengintip sang kuman akan tahu!

Apabila telah bersedia, tibalah masanya utk mereka utk turun ke bumi. Seperti yg dijangkakan sebatu sebelum mencecah kaki ke bumi, Ichiro telah diserang bertubi-tubi oleh kuman dan virus! Namun oleh kerana Ichiro telah bersedia, tidak ada satu kuman pon yg berjaya mencederakan Ichiro. Lalu kuman yang keji itu bertanya kepada Ichiro;

psssst Ichiro ada 6 pack tu. Huhu.

Kuman: Wahai mahkluk dari langit, kenapakah kauuuuuuu begitu kuat seperti badang???

Ichiro ala apek jual sayur!

Ichiro: Kuman yang keji, aku kuat kerana gaya hidupku yang sihat!

Kuman: Hohhhhhh aku tahuuuu ituuuu. Aku juga mengamalkan gaya hidup sihat utk berlawan dgn kauuuu. Tapi kenapa kau masih tetap sekuat badanggg???

Ichiro: Oh aku ada amalan rahsiaaaaaaaa. Aku sebenarnya minum susu Frisolac & Friso Gold dari Dutch ladyyyyyy. Kau ada? Oleh itu bersedialah utk mati!

Kuman: Oh patutlah….arggghhhhhh sakitnya akuuuuuuuuu. [terus kojol]

Berakhirlah riwayat sang kuman yg keji lagi eksyen itu. Keluarga Pitt [bukan nama sebenar] telah bijak memberikan Ichiro susu terbaik di seluruh langit dan bumi iaitu Frisolac (semasa Ichiro masih bayi) dan Friso Gold secara rahsia di luar pengetahuan sang kuman durjana. Kini keluarga dari langit itu bahagia tinggal di bumi tetapi telah terpaksa melanggan pakej biasa utk Bastro kerana pakej lain adalah mahal2 belaka.
