Ok ada pembetulan sket yer. Kepada penerima-penerima cookies percuma (ehe mcm apa jer), thousand apologies sbb saya tk dapat nk kasik percuma lagi, kalau nak juga boleh, tapi kene bayar sketlah RM10 utk setiap delivery. Hihihi. Acah jerrrrr. Kelakar tak?

Hehe..actually saya nk cakap cookies free mmg ada utk Lyana and Ain, tapi I thot mula-mula mcm nk kasik cookies yang my mom bekal kan utk I hari tu. But, then cookies tu I letak dalam plastik jer, ikat dengan getah, so mcm tk air tight so ada lemau sket lah, jadinya I tk sampai hati nk kasik yg itu (alasan sebenar ialah cookies telah habis dimakan oleh cookie monster..hehe)

Tapi mmg I am thinking to give fresh from oven punye cookies. Since last week, few friends of mine order 5 bottles of my mom’s chocolate chip cookies, so I thought that sure my mom can make some extra and I can give that as free sample. Tapi apa kan daya, cookies yg my mom buat cukup2 jer utk 5 balang tu. Ada extra sket jer, then tadi my sis pass la all the cookies yg dia bawak balik dari kampung. Tiba-tiba she said cookies yg dia put aside sket utk hamper yg client order tak cukup! I dgn berat hati menderma cookies yang my mom buat extra for me tu. Sob sob sob…

Panjang drama ni. Harap baca sampai habis. So, kesimpulannya now I don’t have any chocolate chip cookies for sample. But fret not, my mom dah janji nk buat lagi next week, so I can reserve some lah for myself. To those yang nk order, boleh juga, nnt bila I balik PJ I can bring all the cookies from kampung. Kalau nk order, order lah sekarang ok, sbb senang next week I boleh pick up dari my mom. Or kalau nk pos pon boleh lah. Tapi I tk sure harga pos. Harga is RM38 for about +/-500 g (per bottle)

Yg first batch order ni is RM35, tapi my mom quoted for 400 g jer. Bila buat cookies for 400 g balang tk boleh nk penuh. So, my mom sumbat sampai penuh and final weight is about 500 g lah. Harap-harap you all suka lah yer the cookies  ala famous amos my mom’s versio as much as I do. Seriously I think I’ve eaten too much cookies for the past few weeks.

We got a new car!

Bila nk angkat satu dear?

Haha, firstly don’t get fooled with my entry title. We didn’t buy any new car pon, but we’ve been thinking about buying a bigger car soon, since Ichiro’s stuffs have already took up more than half space of our car. Insyallah if ada rezeki I’m hoping to get pregnant again next year so for sure we would need a bigger car with bigger space of course. I prefer kereta yang boleh buat mcm rumah bergerak. Hehe. Boleh tidur atas tilam bagai and since husband is working with Proton, so 90% we would buy Proton car lah nnt. We don’t own any Proton yet, so maybe it’s about time to support our national car. Hecece.

Nak tumpang gi Jalan Tar!

But as I said, getting a new car is not out top priority at the moment. We are in need of a house more than a car. I think it’s about time to be really independent, sbb all these while duduk dengan in laws. I don’t have issue with them till I wann move out, but it just that ..well just like car..I need a bigger space and also nk try lah hidup sendiri, all these while we are too comfortable tinggal dengan parents. But for our first house, maybe we will consider buying a condo / apartment with condo facilities only, insyallah after my business gets better and better, we would for sure buy a better house. I always prefer landed property (a new one).

Dah puas outing dgn Inspira, pekena langsat dan longan plak

Ok dah melalut panjang. Neway, nk cerita about my husband, he got a chance to test drive Proton Inspira last week with his colleagues. Diaorg take turn to drive sampai ke Nilai. I didn’t ask husband much about the car because as if I would know la all the technical things if he explains it to me. So, I just tanya best ker tak? power ker tak? That would do I guess.

Inspira ni design cun la kot, entah lah I susah nk rasa sesuatu kereta tu best ker tak. Lain la kalau tanya kasut or baju lawa ker tak, laju jer menjawab. For car ni, sometimes bila husband kata cantik, puaslah telek celah bedah mana la yg lawa. So, am not really in car department I guess. Hihi, better leave it to guys jer lah.

So, here are few pictures of my husband with Proton Inspira with aweks-aweks and abang-abang macho Proton yang lain. Hihi. Inspira ni design mcm Lancer Mitsubishi, maybe “Inspira” name pon dapat because the design was inspired from Lancer. That’s only a theory lah but it can be true kan? Or maybe I can just ask Imran later. Hehe.

“Aksesori Seni Dawai” Book Launching Event

Book launching event for my sister’s first book “Aksesori Seni Dawai by Yati Salem” is just around the corner…this Sunday to be exact, so before it’s too late, I must update the details now. Those who wanna come, kami alu-alukan kedatangan anda. Saya takder in charge apa-apa for that day, but I’ll be there insyallah. Buat semak event orang and datang makan jer. lah. Huhu. Neway, my sis pakai my Nilam scarf, so I got to shoot her la on that day.

A little bit about the book, it’s a first book wrote by my sister and published by Alaf 21 (Karangkraf. Group) Am not that sure how many pages the book has, but am 100% sure the book is fully colored with clear and large image for you to get a clear view on how to make the wire jewelry your own.

When I first browse through the book, I was like…whattttttt RM19.90 jer for this book? I was once involved in wire jewelry works too and I bought lotsss of expensive books wrote by foreigner crafters and e-book tutorials. Banyak giler sampai berat komputer nk simpan. But nothing as good as my sister’s book. Gambar2 sangat jelas and every and each step tu ditunjukkan dan dijelaskan ..dengan sejelas2 nya. Dannnn contoh yang ditunjukkan dalam buku ni, bukan contoh buat cincin kawen koboi lilit-lilit pintal-pintal jer ok. Contoh jewelry utk dibuat yg ada dalam buku my sister ni semua jewelry yg gempak-gempak, yang if you tengok sekali imbas, you tkkan boleh imagine how to make the rings, bangles and etc. without buying the book and follow the step. Tak perlu susah-susah, tengok jer gambar cincin kt kulit depan buku tu. Boleh tak agak2 macam mana nk buat cincin tu kalau tk beli buku tu? Hehe. Tak boleh bukan?

Dulu I pon buat wire jewelry, bila dah ada teknik asas, sometimes by just one look you can guess already technique required to make the particular jewelry. Guna soldering ker? Guna spiral ker? Guna weaving ker? As far as I know, my sister mmg tak guna solder, mmg jewelry made by my sis diikat dan dimatikan secara teknik putaran wire, yg mana tak semua org boleh buat. Sbb hujung wire agak tajam, kalau kene skin or baju mmg boleh berdarah or baju boleh koyak. So u got to be really good and expert to matikan the wire so that it won’t cut through your flesh or rosakkan baju raya anda Hihih.

I still remember masa I pon sama2 buat wire jewelry with my sis, we got to learn everything on our own. Even tools and supplies pon penat mencari. Because in Malaysia ini, wire jewelry belum betul2 ramai crafters nk buat or pandai buat.  Tk macam di luar negara, wire jewelry mmg dikira exclusive and sometimes harga utk satu jewelry lebih mahal dari jewelry di kedai emas (providing material use to make the wire jewelry is from fine materials, mcm pure gold and silver).

Tools mmg susah nk cari. My sister pon ada ajar kelas juga and I tengok semua tools yg diberi adalah yg ditempah khas dari kilang besi mmg takder jual dekat kedai-kedai. So, to those yang betul2 berminat nak belajar and turn this hobby into a profitable biz like my sis did (siap dah ada buku bagai), can join my sister punya class. I personally encourage you guys yg berminat dgn wire works ni to enrol for the class, sbb you will get tools and supplies. Tools yg lengkap yg cukup lengkap utk u start buat wire jewelry. Itu yg paling penting. I know how hard to find the correct tools. Trust me.

Class jewelry yg ada masa  kami start buat jewelry pon, was only for stringing (yg jahit manik guna tangsi). We don’t fancy that, sbb it’s pretty common, semua org dah pandai buat stringing, design that we can do with stringing it is pretty limited plus not as beautiful as wire jewelry.

So, if nk join, nnt can sign up for class on 16th January next year details as written on the digital brochure above. Or if nk bertemu secara dekat dgn my sister as author of the book boleh dapat autograph hahaha., kalau dia sibuk don’t worry  saya boleh sign kan kih kih..and also boleh tanya details about the class nnt (or kalau nk tengok scarf Nilam yg dipakai oleh my sis pon boleh—-sempat nih promote), can attend book launching event this weekend lah. Chocolate Lonia ada disediakan, tapi limited quantity yer Neway, chocolate tu bukan Lonia sponsor, tapi my sis yg order. Yer adik beradik pon kene bayar ok. Apa-apa pon iklan ini adalah tidak berbayar. Ehe.

Hye! Lama tak update Sorry yer, as always am a busy bee! And since now am trying to get enough rest and sleep, so I got to cut down my internet activities. I have to divide my works and time wisely and make sure I get enough rest and sleep.

Hence, this blog is definitely affected but rest assured not neglected. I still prefer and love to write on blog compare to facebook or anything else. Even though blog can be considered as ancient after so many social networks platform being created everyday, still blog is my favourite among all.

Neway , I got lot of stories to tell, so you guys just got to stay tune for my next update ok. Ada entry about Usana Biomega and also entry about my husband and Proton Inspira..ehe But for now, I wanted to say thank  you to 2 persons who’ve tested my cookies sample. Honestly, I pon tk berapa confident nk distribute the sample, sbb seriously selama almost 30 years my mom buat cookies she never sold any. Semua utk self consume sahaja.

So ada sedikit suspen disitu. But since she’s still active baking and feeding anak-anak dgn cookies sampai adik I dekat rumah tu membesar bagai johan, sbb hari-hari makan kek lapis sarawak lah, cookies lah, kuih lah..and etc. Then I think why not I try to sell some kan? Kasi my mom and adik kt rumah tu ada aktiviti sket. Yup not for me actually, more for my mom and my adik dekat rumah.

The other day when I announced about the cookies sample, I didn’t expect people would want to try the cookies lah. But alhamdullilah ada lah 2-3 org interested. Tak ramai, but that’s a good start kan? Dulu masa I mula-mula promote Usana pon, lepas 2-3 bulan baru org beli. Huhuh.

Ok disebabkan 2 org ini sangat berani beli my sample cookies hari tu. So, I hadiahkan diaorg sample cookies Chocolate Chips my mom (Lyana & Ain nnt I pos kan ok the cookies)  Am a hugeeeeeeee fan of this particular cookie. Sbb I mmg peminat Famos Amos but Chipsmore I tk minat sangat. To compare my mom punye Chocolate Chips cookies dgn Famos Amos, I rasa yg paling obvious is the sweetness and ingredients. My mom punye tak terlalu manis so boleh makan banyak-banyak. Famos Amos mmg sangat manis, so bila makan banyak2 tekak ada rasa mcm perit and gatal sket because of the sugar.  Ingredients plak, my mom ni tk reti nk jimat apa yg dibeli semua tuang masuk adunan. Huhu, cuba tengok gambar chocolate chips tu besar-besar! and rich of oats and almond jugak. I sentap jer tengok semua bahan -bahanI beli petang  tu about RM200 dah habis guna! Haha…tapi bila makan sentap pon hilang. Sebab sodap! Kih Kih…

I wanted to bawak balik PJ satu balang of the cookies. My mom buat 2 balang jer, another balang dah tinggal less than half sbb malam tu masa I busy buat kerja-kerja translation, tanpa kusedari I dah kasi perabis setengah balang. Hehe. But then my mom said “cannot! ariq, zati ngan syahmie nk balik minggu , nk kasik budak-budak tu makan”. I was like alaaaa…but have to akur yg of course lah my mom sayang cucu lebih dari sayang anak sendiri. Hihi. Ariq, Zatie and Syahmie are my nephews and nice. Nama Riqzmie Creation (my sister punye jewelry biz was generated from these 3 little rascals )

So, my mom passed me small clear plastic as above utk kasi I tapau sket bawak balik PJ. Apalagi, I kasik masuk semuat yang boleh! Hahah. Tapi nk kene kasik Ain and Lyana sket la plak. Huhuhu. I sorok cookies ni dalam bekas isi susu and cookies Ichiro Takder saper boleh jumpa kt situ. Heee genius tak?

Yang ni close up, nampak tak besar2 chocolate chips and almond and oat. Mmg sangat berkhasiat!
