Proton Family Day 2011

Sebahagian dari pekerja proton dan keluarga masing2 yang memenuhi Sunway Lagoon. Semua tengah breakfast dgn KFC

I keep reminding myself, next year if I were to join another proton family day, I must get up super early and be at the location earlier than everyone else (I mean earlier than other 10 thousands of Proton’s staff). No joke.

Hari tu, ingatkan dah awal dah, tapi bila sampai area Sunway, tengok bas-bas proton dah bersepah2, coming from Tanjung Malim, Pahang and from all Proton branches. Then dalam kereta semua kereta yg berpusu2 masuk parking park, semua kereta org proton. Parking dah penuh seawal pukul 9 pagi! Sebaik ada banyak lagi dekat level atas2. Haku dah panik, sbbnya we got to be in the Sunway Lagoon before 9.15 am, because nk masukkan coupon lucky draw.

Hahaha I know I sounded ridiculous kan? Nk berebut2 sampai semata2 nk masukkan kupon dalam kotak lucky draw. Well, I think you need to know the prize before judging me. Hihi. Siapa tak nak kan hadiah kereta Inspira, kereta saga, tiket umrah and tiket melancong and many other hadiah saguhati like motor, ipad, computer, handphone, tablet and etc. Tell me sapa tanak kereta free??

Area pool. Penuhkan? Next time I nk bawak tent juga, letak kipas semua dalam tent. Sbb Proton nyer hari keluarga mmg selalu mcm ini lah. Penuh.

Sampai jer Sunway Lagoon, there goes my hope nk menang kereta, nk masuk jer dah cramp. Tempat beli tiket nk masuk tu, penuh dgn org berbaju oren (baju proton). Nk masuk kene rebut2. Staff Sunway plak nk kene check bag bagai, last2 diaorg kasik jer masuk tanpa check bag, sbb impossible nk check semua. Masuk jer semua org jalan cepat2 turun escalator, tkder lah cepat mana pon, sbb penuh manusia kan, I plak dengan nk tolak stroller Ichiro di tengah2 lautan manusia, mmg banyak la kaki manusia kene lenyek. Hihihi. Sorry la sesapa yg I terlenyek kaki dgn stroller Ichiro yg berat nk mampus. Banyak barang gantung termasuk lah berat Ichiro.

Sebaik ada organizer event yg tunggu kt bawah escalator with kotak lucky draw tu, then lega lah i. Haha. Tapi lega sekejap jer, sbb perjalanan nk sampai ke khemah utama, sungguh mencabar. Sbb we got to amik food first, amik bag cenderahati and baru move to khemah utama. Jalan mmg jam pack gila gila gila gila. Lucky Ichiro tak cranky, he just sat quietly while mommy dia struggle nk keluar dari kesempitan ruang. Takut juga Ichiro terlemas nnt. Husband pergi beratur nk amik food.

I asyik tengok jam, sbb nya cabutan grand prize tu akan berlangsung dalam 15 minutes. Husband still beratur for food. Adehhh. I dh pasrah jer time tu. Tiba-tiba husband muncul bersama harapan. Muka anak sedara i ( i bawak my nephew) and ichiro dah bosan jer sbb diaorg tk dapat2 lagi nk main air. Hihi.

So, terus jer kiterorg jalan cepat2 menuju ke khemah utama, but sadly we stuck in the middle of human ocean again , kali ni event worse. Tak boleh bergerak langsung. Tkder movement. Sbb people coming from both direction and bertembung then kiri kanan org2 dah letak tikar n duduk jadinya lagi cramp. We tried to squeeze ourselves and pergi ke tepi sbb seriously Ichiro duduk dalam stroller boleh lemas sbb tkder udara. Stuck dekat situ dalam 20 minutes juga lah. Last-last my husband mcm cakap kuat sikit mintak laluan for the kids. Then org tgk stroller yg penuh dengan barang2 tu, terus kasi laluan. Hehe. Barulah terselemat. Nasib baik tk menang hadiah cabutan bertuah, sbb kalau menang kiterorg tk dpt nk pergi stage ambil sbb tersekat, kalau jadi mcm tu lagi lahhhhhhhhhh terkilan kan?

Ok yg ni cool kan? Matahari sangat cerah and somehow colour dia berubah jadi merah, very cantikkkk. I name this shot as “Sun-Flower”

It’s ok next time, after that dah selamat sampai kt pool, pool penuh dgn manusia juga. Siap ada pasang tent bagai. Tkder tempat nk duduk. Then we scouted for a spot utk I duduk dan jaga2 barang, dapatlah area tepi longkang. Wakakaka. Tapi ok lah sbb ada pokok and very redup. Tapi basahlah plak area tu sbb budak2 dok lari2 dgn kaki basah. Sebaik Proton kasi tikar, then I bentang, tapi tetap basah sbb tikar tu tipis jer, lucky I bawak my yoga mat. Muahaha. Getah dan tebal, so I bentang yoga mat atas tikar then susun bag jadi bantal, put on my shade, and amik fennel blanket ichiro yg besar utk cover I. Org lain jaki jer tgk I tidur atas yoga mat. Hehe. Diaorg tkleh baring sbb basah dan lantai berbatu2 sakit badan.

Lepas budak2 dah puas main air (sebenarnya tk puas) tapi nk kene berebut naik ride pula. Cepat2 packing and naik atas utk play the rides. As I expected ride semua penuh! Argghhh tension sungguh nk kene queue. Tapi sabar kan sahaja melayan the kids. Dapatlah naik 4 rides. Cukup lah kan. Lepas tu terus balik.

Last but not least, ni pic Ichiro , but didn’t snap this masa family day, but since dah lama tk letak gambar my intan payung ni dekat blog, so here goes. Gambar Ichiro tengah kesedapan minum Yakult sambil pakai kopiah yg dia cilok dari bilik grandpa. Hehe.

Harus cuba lagi cabutan bertuah tahun depan. Hihih.

Eja betul-betul

Sebenarnya tadi dah draft satu “entry” lain, tapi tiba-tiba teringat yang saya pernah terfikir nak buat kempen “eja betul-betul” , dan masa tengah melayari blog Emila Yusof  tadi, terjumpa “entry” Emila yang juga berkenaan tentang penggunaan bahasa melayu yang betul.

Ok, sebenarnya saya tidak ada masalah sangat dengan penggunaan bahasa melayu yang tidak sempurna, asalkan ianya senang dan boleh difahami saya masih boleh terima. Tapi yang sangat…sangat…sangat tidak boleh diterima ni adalah penyalahgunaan ejaan.

Ada yg panggil bahasa sms, bahasa fb dan apa-apa jerlah..sbb itu tk penting. Yang penting adalah ejaan-ejaan seumpama “aq”, “owang”, “owunk”, “skung”, “jeww” dan sebagainya adalah sangat membuat otak mendidih okkkkkkkkkk.

Ingat nak guna lencana blog “Gunakan Bahasa Melayu dengan betul” yang Emila Yusof dah buat, tapi masalahnya kempen yang saya nk perjuangkan (cewahh poyo tak?) bukan lah tentang penggunaan Bahasa Melayu tapi lebih kepada ejaan. Lagipon Emila kata kalau letak lencana tu kene tulis bahasa melayu dgn betul, jadinya agak takut sedikit disitu. Huhuh. Jadi saya buat “screenshot” dan ambil illustrasi yang Emila lukis ni, sangat comel dan menarik Saya suka! Emila maaf nyer kalau tk boleh buat ambil gambar ni, kasi tahu saya nnt kalau tk boleh, saya akan alihkan keluar gambar di atas ok.

Ni nak tanya sikit. Apa jadahnya nk eja macam tu? Tk susah ker nk fikir ejaan2 yang tk masuk akal tu? Kalau akulah, boleh macam nk tercirit nak fikir ejaan mcm tu. Susah nk eja tu satu, ambil masa nk menaip tu lagi satu. Sbb kadang-kadang konon2 penciptaan ejaan sebegini utk menyenangkan supaya boleh taip lebih pendek, tapi cuba tengok perkataan sms “jeww” , ada 4 huruf ok. Kalau shortform yg betul adalah shj, atau mungkin “je” walaupon “je” itu pon salah sebenarnya, tapi aku boleh terima ok sbb dia tk buat otak aku mendidih dan berpusing2. Jadinya apa tujuan ringkasan-ringkasan perkataan ini dicipta? Sbb ternyata sebahagian darinya bukan “singkat” sangat pon!!

Hari tu ada terbaca dekat facebook, komen seseorang yang guna shortform ni di dalam hampir keseluruhan komen. Rasa mual nk muntah baca komen tu ok. Apakah terasa comel eja macam tu? Terasa urban? Terasa cool? Apa sebenarnya yang diaorg ni rasa bila eja mcm tu eh ? Rasa best? Sbb serasanya majoriti rasa meluat dgn ejaan2 seumpama ini.

Jadinya marilah kita buat kempen “eja betul-betul” ok . Saya bukan lah nk mintak semua org guna bahasa melayu yang jitu yang mcm nk jawab kertas bahasa malaysia spm. Baguslah kalau boleh berbahasa sebaik itu, tapi kalau tak boleh, sekadar berbahasa secara sederhana, elok dan boleh difahami pon dah memadai bagi saya. Sbb dekat blog ni umpama kita bercakap dgn kawan2, jadinya saya tk rasa saya akan bercakap dgn kawan2 saya macam nk jawab soalan kertas peperiksaan.

Tapi yang mendangkal jiwa (cewahhhh ini kira bahasa tinggi ni huhu), ialah ejaan2 sampah yang buat kita boleh rasa nak membunuh kalau nak baca sampai habis.

Pink-White Hantaran from Lonia

I wanted to sleep but perut memulas. Rasa nk terberrrrrr….Gross kan? Well I hate when rasa memulas2 yang acah2 ni. I can’t decide whether to sleep or to wait. Cisss.

But since kinda decided to wait (if nothing happen in the next 10 minutes, haku tido!) so, wanna fully utilize my time with updating my blog. Monday is public holiday, I believe many are not working today so less visitors to my blog. Am getting more and more visitors actually but makin ramai datang makin sunyi. Semua jenis silent readers. Huhu. Am cool with that. Komen atau tidak komen bukan penyebab saya berblogging. Tetapi kalau anda komen, saya happy dan lagi semangat nk update selalu kot.

Neway, 10 minit dah nk berlalu, I just wanna show you guys my latest hantaran creation for a friend of mine Ain, she ordered the hantaran for her sister in law and I made something that is traveling friendly. Theme colour is pink and white, but I blend it with a bit of purplish flower to give some tone.

Initially I wanted to do something else, but I changed my mind and it took me about 3 hours to finish up decorating the white filigree tray. It’s pretty easy to assemble the hantaran, just place 2 boxes of Lonia chocolates that on top of the silver platform located in the middle of the tray. That’s it, ready for action sudah

Air Keroh Malacca Zoo

This is the third time Ichiro rides a horse. His face expression gets more and more excited compare to the first and second time. Precious

I’ve been thinking to bring my son to zoo for quite sometime. So last 2 week we finally brought him to see animals at Air Keroh Zoo, Malacca. When I was little, Air Keroh Zoo was pretty awesome. I got to see so many “Orang Utan” and fed too. So, I was tempted to visit the zoo and to see all of the animals and feel the joy again, this time not as a little kid but as a mother to a kid.

We arrived there about 10 am in the morning, there were few people queuing for tickets and from my observation zoo entrance was in a very poor condition. Sangat sempit, lack of decoration and not attractive at all. I was pretty disappointed but kept telling myself that animals that we gonna see would be awesome despite the unattractive entrance.

So, we walked in and was welcomed with colorful parrots. Cantik memang cantik. The birds were not caged so Ichiro can have a very close view. But then I spotted plastic bag, empty can, bottle all over the place, it really gives me instant sore eyes. Obviously the zoo is not well maintain, the janitor is nowhere to be seen.

Then we walked further, I saw many run down, abandoned food and souvenir stall. Apparently business is not so good I guess, so they got to close the shop. The one that still in business need some kind of shop lift up, because it looks super horrible! The paint has washed out, dirty, not hygienic and poorly decorated. This kind of place , I mean place like zoo, it has to be attractive in order to attract kids to come and see the animal. From what I can see, if I were a kid (now) this isn’t a place that I would die to go, but if it is 20 years ago, yes. This used to be my favourite place. Setiap kali pergi melaka, mesti tak lupa nk tengok papan tanda besar tulis Zoo Air Keroh and read it out loud. For me at that time, the zoo was a symbol of joy and happiness in Malacca. Sbb masa tu tkder mall and etc, so zoo, taman buaya and park2 yg sewaktu was the only place to hang out with family and to spend holiday.

Then we walked further up, tengok binatang ala kadar, sebab betul2 tk berkenan dgn kawasan keliling yg semak (worse than hutan!), becak, binatang yang tk dijaga dgn elok, semua nampak kotor dan tk bersemangat and hardly can spot the animals. I remember there are many kind of animals dulu, sekarang ni not only type of animals that they keep in the zoo has went down, but the quantity also! Ada cage yang besar bagak, but ada sekor jer musang? Cage burung yg sangat besar, lagi besar dari 3 futsal court combine, cuma ada seekor merak dan seekor kancil yg sangat “kancil” i mean sangat kecikkkk. Semak tk boleh cerita lah dalam cage tu, dgn keadaan yg basah, rasa mcm tk selamat jer nk bawak my son masuk. But since dah sampai, I bawak jer lah. Tawakal.

But animal like lembu and deer mmg tersangat banyak. Deer tu ok lagi, tapi lembu nk tgk banyak2 buat apa? Lembu kt tepi jalan pon banyak. Then my mom said, they don’t mind keeping lots of lembu and deer because they can slaughter them and sell the meat. Well, that kinda make sense.

We have been walking half round and yet to see any zoo keeper feeding the animals or cleaning the cage. This is disaster! The zoo is nothing without watching zoo keeper in action! Dah sampai separuh jalan tu, I dah mula bosan and can’t wait to finish the tour and balik. Nothing much to see. Binatang tk banyak, kalau we spotted a cage, nk kene beliakkan mata cari mana binatang. And most of the cage was empty.

Another thing, there’s also no activities going on, no elephant or tiger performance. Kuda pon ada 2-3 ekor jer! Gajah ada, tapi berantai and mundar mundir tkder tujuan. Buaya punya sangkar adalah scary ok. My brother told me, when the area immersed in water due to flood few years back, the crocodile somehow managed to jail break and swam to towards the lake next to the zoo. Dan buaya tu lepas bebas begitu sahaja. That really scary ok! Everything is scary about the zoo. Dah la tk ramai org and sangat semak, not advisable to visit the zoo alone. It is very unsafe.

I think you can now imagine how poor the condition of the zoo and I hope Malacca government would do something to fix this. I don’t understand, how can you claim malacca as a growing state if many of the facilities and tourist spots are dying??? Kembalikan zaman kegemilangan zoo melaka, taman buaya, mini malaysia and many more.

Ok lah, next nk try A’Famosa plak. My brother went there, dia kata quite happening. So, nnt nk try pergi. Entrance fee agak mahal sket more or less mcm nk masuk Sunway Lagoon. But if it’s worth it, as always I don’t mind paying. I think maybe they should increase the ticket price to enter the zoo, so they could renovate it, keep more animals in the zoo and also maybe invite a mobile circus or funfair to do a performance in the zoo. That would make the zoo more “alive” rather than alive but appear dead like now. No offence.
