I got so many email from readers inquire on how I design my blog. Thus, I think it would be so much easier for everyone and save my time too if I make an entry for it. So let’s start…

How do you design your blog?
I don’t design my blog, I hired a web developer to get it done for me.

How much the web developer charging you?
Am not sure about other web developer’s fee, but I paid around RM350 for current look of my blog.

How to contact your web developer?
You can send your message to me, I will help you to forward it to my web developer

Do you take orders to draw blog header?
No.

Can you draw a blog header for me something similar to yours?
I don’t design header as well. I get someone to draw it for me. For my current header, it was being drawn by Emila Yusof. You can visit her website and contact her via contact form made available on her site. Fee is around RM100 to RM150 per header. But not sure if she has already revised her pricing. You got to check with her for latest rate.

Can you teach me how to create a blog?
I can but unfortunately at the moment I don’t think it’s possible for me to teach you step by step as I’m quite busy with my business and attending my son. You can google though, there are many other website generously put up a complete tutorial in interesting way and easy to understand too.

How to install widget like you have on your blog?
I normally use plugin for putting up all those widgets, I always prefer to use plugin rather than editing the codes/theme. Blogger (blogspot) also offer few nice widgets which I think good enough for you to have a nice personalize blog. Installation is also quiet easy for blogger, just drag and drop will do.

For wordpress.com (free account), it’s kinda limited for things that you can do with your blog. You need to pay if you wanna edit the codes which is quite troublesome and free widget offered also not that many.

WordPress is BEST to use with own hosted domain like mine. I use wordpress.org for this blog and loving it. There are like tonnes of choices for the plugins, just name it. Not to mention easy to install and use too.

How to buy hosting?
There are many hosting company offers interesting hosting package. I’m currently using DreamHost, those who are interested to buy DreamHost hosting package, do let me know.
