When the going gets tough..the tougher gets going..

Do you have any idea how tough the challenges that I need to face everyday in running my “the brand” business. To some maybe it seems easy-peasy for me since I was daring enough to dump my previous job and dedicated myself to my newly found business after doing it for 6 months only part timely.
To tell you the truth it ain’t easy. It is 10000x times tougher than my previous job. Seriously.
But there are few things that made me still standing..
- I’m Malay and Muslim and I wanna do something to prove to the community that Malay and Muslim also “boleh”
- I love helping people and sharing information and knowledge on health. No matter how slow my sales are [sometimes]
- I love helping others who really serious in helping themselves to better in life~financially
- I get to know many new friends, my network is expanding almost everyday!
- I love “the brand” products
- I love the flexibility in running the business. I don’t need big capital to invest in buying stocks, I don’t need a shop to sell products, just get my computer [a good one] wired with internet will be suffice enough and the best part I can just do it at home while baby sitting my son.
- Due to the flexibility that this business has to offer, I got the chances to materialize my dreams in having my own clothing line. Insyallah.
- This is my main source of income and I cannot do it lightly!
However, as I mentioned above. Running your own business is multiple time harder than working for people. Based on my [roughly] 6 months experiences being a self-employed, I would say there were many many many many many many times I felt like giving up since beginning. Yes, you read it right.
I can list out like thousands of reason why I felt like giving up, but it will surely take up lots of space on my blog.
However, do you know that giving up, especially in business is normal? You’ve got to consider giving up when the need arises. BUT [there's a but] make sure you make a quick come back and become even stronger than before.
That’s my definition of give up. It’s more “gimme a break” moment 
When the entire world seems against you..just press the pause button, rest and enjoy your “me” time. When your mind is fresh and free from negative thinking , get your gear ready again, it is time for you to put on your thinking helmet and change your strategy.
If nothing much you can do and everything is out of your hands. Just berserah and tawakal.
So far, whenever I felt down, I will just repeat the above process and every time I made a come back [byk kali dah buat come back ni actually ] something good will happen. As if like a reward of being stronger than before.
So kiter kene percaya dgn tuhan. Di mana ada usaha disitu ada kejayaan dan rezeki.
And satu lagi habit saya, I jarang mengeluh. Once a while yes, bila dah tk larat sangat dgn cabaran hebat. Tapi most of the time, I will just look at it on the bright sight and think about it silently.
Kalau u mengeluh pon 24 jam, will it change anything? Tak kan?
And do you have any idea why I write this entry? Honestly, sbb I feel a bit down today and gave up for the umpteenth time. Hahaha. Welllll….not really about sales, sales is pretty good lately, it’s regarding another challenge I need to counter in my business.
I will surely be fine again in few days time, will just pray to god for the problem to settle soonest possible, am really sick of it. For now, I just need prayer support so much and also many customers to mend my broken heart
So, now who wants to buy supplement?

sure u can dear! just start with something, something small (not necessarily big biz) and something that you love and had passion in it. surely u can do it and overcome the obstacles that may coming in your way nnt
in studies also the same. i used to be a student before but I was too naive, young and immature to understand the secret of the real give up. back then, when I gave up…that’s it . pull stop. giving up is giving up. wished I wasn’t that ignorance..

i involved in car bidding..takde la juta2 tp modal agak besar..
involve dz kindda biz mmg byk trick. kalo u betul2 minat i leh bg tips.. (mcm la terer sgt..hoho!)

ooo car bidding eh. tapi tu la i mmg tk berapa dgn biz yg start dgn modal besar. mungkin boleh la tp bila my biznes yg i start dgn modal kecik dah boleh utk i invest utk biznes modal besar

tapi kalau u mmg minat buat bidding ni, why u stop dulu yer? any particular reason?
When I was selling unit trust 2003 – 2005, it was HARD..my income was okay alhamdulillah, even qualified for both year’s trips. Rasa nak give up tu memang banyak kali ada..last2 give up jugak because of other issues too. ANd frankly, I didn’t think it was my cup of tea. Alhamdulillah I have found another biz that I love more, something more “me”. Tapi tetap ada rasa nak give up! Mcm you jugak, many many many times! “Where God closes a door, He opens a window”. “Every cloud has a silver lining”. Those are one of the many that I try to remember..and has seen me through 6th year of home-biz

oh u were doing the unit trust too years back eh? i was thinking to give it a try, since well..it’s totally a different field from what am doing now and plus unit trust business is quite promising. but then the drawback is the need for me to meet up people, bla bla bla and also from my pemahaman yg cetek ni di tk berapa mcm residual income. entahlah I donno, nnt I salah cakap org unit trust bambu i..hihi

congrats ainol…you are on the right track. tp biasala along the journey biasanya ada byk obstacles. been there done that.
even skrg ni pun adalah masa kejatuhan i yg paling teruk, ada masa my husband rasa nak give up everything, tp i tetap nak pertahankan our biz. yg penting kita kena ingat rezeki ada di mana2, rezeki tuhan yg tentukan.

oh adik eh..hihi so u langkah bendul la yer? itu la i ingat lagi dulu u nyer biznes success betul and i kagum u lepas grad terus bisnes tk der kerja dgn org lansung. then hubby pon berhenti kerja sbb nk tolong u nyer biznes yg dah tkleh nk handle sorang2. i doa semoga u sihat balik and boleh buat biznes. org yg dengki dan busuk hati selalu tuhan bayar cash kt dunia ni jugak. sbb nk kasik peluang bertaubat. so saper yg buat u tu, tunggu jerlah balasan dari tuhan.

i see..true2. dalam my biz tu pon, ada lah pihak2 yg menipu downline dan menjual product dgn harga yg mahal. mmg ramai la yg tertipu. so i rasa tipu daya ni mmg semua biznes pon ada kan. tapi i just ignore them la, i buat my own style jer.
tulah focus dulu la dengan ur lil baby…nama sedap zara
lagipon kalau dah minat, u tetap akan buat balik jugak nnt kan

replying to ur comment, i dont know how u see my entry but i wasnt saying that I feel like giving up on my venture.. I love it.
also i’m not complaining that i couldnt do work, the first 2weeks je pastu dah ok, i have allocated time for it.. 9-5 working time, break 1-2hrs to feed the kids lunch..
then back to work…
and ofcos there’s intervals in between.. when they calls me. its managable now.
yang part me explaining bout my kids, becos ppl keep comparing my kids with theirs, saying my life is so easy.. semuanye senang… thats why the much elobrated explanation.
and the reason of me pondering about it was, i want to change, i dont want to really concentrate on 100% work perse in a day like what I’m doing now..
but to add other things in my daily routine.. like teaching Nadhrah {homeschool}, cooking, gardening etc…
that is why i highlighted in my entry, to me life’s not just about money.. sbbnye i nak concentrate in a few things not only work/biz..
different ppl have different strive kan? success is also like beauty, depends on the eye of the beholder..
so may we succeed in we both dream for…
i know u can do it..! strive for what u dream off ok..

oh tak-tak. I wasn’t saying you complain or giving up either..hihi. I tulis kt situ, kalau lah u tanya I pasal WAHM ni semua. My answer would be like that la. Mmg betul WAHM ni mcm tk official, like us la. Tk official bekerja. But still we have ambition and we want our biz to be on a good track. So, my comment is more to my opinion towards WAHM la (generally). maybe that’s how I plan my future nnt with multiple kids. Sbb working at home..it still working. We make a living thru it. So kene amik perhatian serious jugak, bukan lah bekerja di rumah ni boleh amik mudah.
