What love is…
I feel wee bit odd to write this, but since this is my blog and I got the rights to write whatever I want to write here, so go to hell with what people gonna think. Furthermore, it’s not that often I write about husband buying me stuff, I can’t even remember when was the last time. Well…maybe ada, but yours truly can’t seem to remember. Ehe.
But yeah, truth is I paid myself for almost all of my expensive belongings such as gadgets (my macbook, smartphone & dslr camera), sewing machines and etc. It’s not only I don’t have the heart to ask my husband to buy all those stuff but satisfaction also ain’t there. I always work hard to earn things that I want, for me it’s kinda good to have a strong determination in achieving personal goals, it’s so addictive, better than alcohol and drugs (but I neva try those lah..)
To cut the story short, my husband bought me a diamond necklace and seriously I never expected it as I don’t really “need” jewellery. Hubster know very well how am such a sucker of gadgets and he would surely know that I can jump higher than KLCC tower should he buy me the latest Iphone or Macbook Air. However, things like gadgets and handbags as for the norm will at the end deteriorate in its value and he knew that he needs to buy me a thing that could symbolize his love perfectly ….forever love, forever valuable, forever shiny, forever yada yada……welllll…you know things that never out of season
….and yes diamond fits ‘em all
So, here I am wearing a new diamond necklace and feeling good. It is indeed true then diamond is woman best friend? Who can deny that?
Me: Thank you dear…hmm what’s the occasion?
Him: Well..it’s for everything you’ve done for me and Ichiro is the best
Him: Oh and it’s cum your advance birthday present jugak…
Me: Nooooooooo. Bday present nk lain!
Him: Ha ha ha. It’s final you’ve gotten your bday pressie already. Happy Birthday!
Me: Shessshhhh
I prefer not to show piece of the jewellery because seriously it doesn’t matter to me, I don’t really care how expensive and how beautiful the jewellery is, but the most important thing is the thought that’s count. What’s inside the box shall remain secret and personal. To know my husband willing to buy me a jewellery that I least expect had touched me so deeply. I don’t quite comfortable spending so much money on jewellery (except during wedding), therefore I suggested him to invest in buying pure gold instead of the diamond, but he insisted as for him this is not about investing, this is about love and his gesture of appreciation. He wouldn’t trade love for everything else. That’s sweet.
Love makes guy crazy. Love makes woman commit suicide. Whatever your definition of love is…
Love is always divine.

We have been together (as a love couple) since year 1999 and counting. Thank GOD that our bundle of joy has safely arrived on 27/6/2009. Wish us luck in our journey to parenthood.
