I have been busy these few days. Hardly have time to online let alone updating my blog.

My baby is not with me now. He was being admitted this morning at Pantai Hospital Malacca for jaundice treatment. Eventho, Prof Lim our paed in KL is quite confident that his jaundice will not get worsens after day 7 onwards, but still…..paranoid is my middle name now.

So, I sent him to be check by another paed in Malacca Dr. Liau who happened to know Prof Lim very well. He also kinda agrees with me and suggesting putting my baby under the light treatment for a day or two. He then wrote a letter to another paed Dr. Lim who is practicing in Pantai Hospital Malacca for further checks up.

We then quickly brought Ichiro to see Dr. Lim (who also happened to know Prof Lim. Prof Lim must be very good and famous since everyone knows him..ehe). Prof Lim is indeed a nice paed. I love the way he play with my baby and sometimes even help us to change Ichiro’s diaper! Oh so sweet. Now I secretly call him “Atuk Lim”. Hehe.

Oh back to main story. I just don’t have the heart to see the doctor taking few drops of my baby’s blood. At the moment he poked the needle into Darwis’s hand, I really feel like crying. Oh I actually did. Poor Darwis Ichiro…..:( Sorry dear, mommy really has to do this to make sure that you won’t fall sick darling and you will continue smiling for me. Oh bliss.

Hopefully tomorrow his condition will get better and I can bring him home. I MISS him with capital “M”

Some of “petua” to treat jaundice (demam kuning eh?) that I already tried are;

Bathe him with “air buah keranji”
Jemur him under morning sunlight
Breastfeed

It did actually helps to slow down the jaundice. Prof Lim did notice that, and he told me that even though the jaundice is increasing but it wasn’t as rapidly as before. And looking at the trend, he was quite confident the level will drop…..but I was hell worried. Selagi tk drop haku tk boleh tido ok.

haah! i pon ada dgr. masa i pergi klinik dr. liau tu..ada one of the mom yg dtg utk cek anak dia pon cakap..anak dia kuning dulu…minum susu kambing

ala imran tu berlakon jer tu…tapi dia mmg tido cam tu pon..nganga…hahah

ada gambar dia tido nganga dalam bas..masa kiterorg pergi trip bali tu…then my officemate gi amik gambar kiterorg tido..and upload gambar tu kt server office..bodooo gileeeeeee…hahahaha

jadi bahan lawak kiterorg masa tu.

insyallah he will get better soon..skang dh ok…jaundice dah turun mendadak..pretty low..hopefully akan hilang terus in few days..

Dr Liau adalah doc yang amat best..my daughters kalau sakit pepe kene kat melaka, sure kiterg gie clinic dia kat selekoh malim tuh..very soft spoken..

betulll…dah la dia dpt award pekerja terbaik gh hospital kan

my sis yg rekomen dia..tu i pergi jumpa dia..i was thinking to send ichiro to general hospital..so dr.liau boleh monitor ichiro…tapi lepas fikir2 kt sana byk babies..takut ichiro tk dpt the best treatment n service…so dia rekomen his fren dr.lim kt pantai tu.

dr.lim pon baik tau. happy go lucky orgnya:)

neway, ramai paed lelaki kan? perempuan tk suka jadi paed ker?

oh no…sian ichiro.last time umar pon warded sebab jaundice.2 malam kat hospital,mommy kat umah hari2 nanges.pagi2 buta dah pegi hospital n stay sampai malam cos nak bf.i have tried petua memandikan ngan air belimbing bulut.alhamdulillah it works dear!

oh u r such a great mother…i plak tk stay kt hospital, sbb my mom worried dgn my condition..tkleh kene angin and all..nnt dah umur 40an akan datang sakit katanya kalau tk jaga elok2 skang..

rumah plak jauh dari hospital…dgn i bontot melecet sbb pakai pad..oh mmg pedihhh…

air belimbing bulut eh? belimbing bulut tu mcm mana yer? boleh gak try…utk ichiro sihat lagi..
